Chapter Eight - The Power of Love

After recovering, Sarawat sought information about the victim by asking her classmates what had happened the day before the accident. After getting a clue, Sarawat suspected the substitute lecturer and decided to investigate him.

The lecturer seemed to know Sarawat was following him, after returning from work he headed to a deserted slum district and entered an empty house to lure Sawarat and look for opportunities to kill him.

That afternoon, Kong happened to see Sarawat leaving campus and acted suspiciously, so he decided to follow the guy quietly. He happened was also investigating the murder case of a female student from the economics faculty, and thought maybe Sarawat had found a clue about the culprit, and of course, he was not alone, Arthit and Tine were also lurking in the distance.

Sarawat was sneaking in front of the house while peering inside through the window. After learning the house condition, Sarawat finally decided to enter, and coincidentally the door was not locked.

When he stepped in, he suddenly heard Kong's shout from behind along with the heavy running footsteps and animals growling of sounds.

"Watch out!!!"

Sarawat immediately turned around and at the same time, his back was rammed from behind by an ox, thrown into the middle of the room.

Sarawat fell face down on the floor and coughed up vomiting blood, his vision turned dark for a moment, his head was dizzy and his bones felt broken from rammed and hitting the floor hard, he turned his body with difficulty and tried to get up.

While in front of him there was an ox with steaming smoke around his nose and it was taking a position about to attack again.

P'Sarawat!!! Run!!!" Kong shouted from afar while running toward the house.

Arthit who was chasing behind Kong immediately moved the door and closed it before Kong could reach it, locking Sarawat with the Ox Demon alone inside.

"No!!! P'Sarawat, open the door!!!" Kong tried to open the door and strongly banged on it, then circled the house looking for another entrance.

While in the house...

Sarawat dragged his body backward with a gasping breath, then tried to get the talisman out of his pocket. He tried to sort out the type of talisman based on its function, but his vision seemed shading, he had difficulty concentrating.

The ox demon shuddered at the talisman at first, but then he remembered Arthit's words saying that the talisman's spells were incomplete, his worries were gone immediately.

He then scrubbed one of his feet on the floor like scratching, the movements were getting faster and faster, then suddenly he blew the air from his nose that blown away all talismans in Sarawat's hands.

After that he's striking again, aiming his horn at his target, fortunately, Sarawat managed to grab the two horns and gripping them tightly with both of his hands, causing his body to be pushed back until hitting the wall.

The ox was exerting all its strength to pushing his head, Sarawat's arms trembled, he almost gave up and suddenly a green snake crept up towards him and wrapped around the neck of the Ox firmly, making it choking. The Ox struggled and moved away from Sarawat as the snake pounced on its neck, making the ox scream hysterically.

He immediately transformed into an ox man and pulled the snake's body strongly using his hand to free himself. The green snake is in pain and immediately releases its prey. Next, the Ox Demon grabbed the neck of the snake and slammed its body hard on the floor.

After that he pulled out the ax, trying to chop the snake's body, but the snake moved swiftly to avoid it.

At this time, Kong managed to enter the house through the back door and froze for a moment with an expression of shock when seeing the ox man in front of him, before helping Sarawat to his feet, while the ox demon was chasing after the green snake.
