You were lying on the couch, sleeping. You were so tired from being sick that you slept most of the time.
Daniel came in from the kitchen, watching you sleep with a small smile on his lips.
He bent over, kissing your lips softly. You stirred and your eyes fluttered open. You looked up to see Daniel's face near yours.

''Finally awake. I didn't get to see your beautiful eyes a lot this week.'' Daniel said, stroking your hair. You yawned and sat up.
''I'm just so tired, but I think that..- ah.. aaah.. ahchoo!'' You sneezed into your handkerchief followed by blowing your nose. Daniel laughed.
''You sound like a baby elephant.'' He said, sitting next to you on the couch. You glared at him.
''Thanks.. thanks a lot.'' You murmured.

Daniel wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close to him. You put your head on his shoulder.

''Thank god I'm feeling much better. I think I'm mending again.'' You said to Daniel.
''Yeah, although it was fun taking care of you.'' He grinned. You nuzzled your face in the crook of his neck, taking in his scent.
''You always take care of me Dan.'' You smiled. You felt Daniel kiss your hair.

After a silence between you too, you heard Daniel sneeze. You pulled yourself away from his hug, to look at him. He sniffled a few times.

''It seems that I will be the one taking care of you next week though.'' You said, running your hand through his hair.
He stared into your eyes, smiling.

''I don't think I'll mind that.'' He said, while he sneezed again.
