I pull her into the bathroom just off our bedroom. Thankfully, this is what's considered the "master bathroom" and is just big enough for both of us. I reach in and turn on the shower, feeling Clio jump when she hears the water. I stand up again, looking at her now frightened form. "Have you never taken a shower before?" Her blood-soaked face shakes a no and stays silent. I strongly underestimated how much blood was on her. All the blood within the deer is now on her body. "Okay, clothes off hon. You need a shower." Her eyes widen, pointing her claw at her chest then at the shower, trying to understand what I mean. I nod and walk toward her to take her clothes off. She slowly backs away from me, trying to keep me from her. I suddenly run at her, pushing her into the wall gently. She gives a half-hearted fight, trying to keep her clothes intact by gently holding me back. "Clio, I will throw you, clothes and all, into the shower if I have too." She knows just as well as me that I couldn't move her if I wanted to. Reluctantly, she obliges and begins stripping. She knows I'm not going to give up until she's in there. Eventually, she stands completely naked in front of me, blushing so hard I can see it underneath the blood. I open the curtain and look at her. "In you go." She gives me a nervous look and starts shaking. "It's scary..." I can't believe she hates showers just as much as a dog. I give her a more stern look. "Clio." She shyly walks towards me slowly and gets into the shower, standing at the edge furthest from the hot water. "Clio, go into the... WAIT!" She suddenly picks me up and tries pulling me into the shower with her. I grab onto the sink and hold on for dear life. "Clio! Just go in the water!" I'm starting to lose my grip. "I need you to help me!" I lose. I'm pulled into the shower, clothes and all. I'm soaked, while Clio is still not in the water and perfectly dry. I start taking my clothes off. Well, it's more like peeling them off since they are latched to my skin from being waterlogged. Once finally naked, I take Clio's hand and pull her towards me. She resists, intent on staying out of the water. "Clio, the water won't kill you. Come on, I'll help you get clean." I can see honest fear in her eyes. I walk over to her and hug her tight. Sure, I'm covered in blood now. At this point, I'm getting a shower as well. I stand on my toes and kiss her, gently pulling her into the water. She obliges and slowly shuffles into the hot water. We need a bigger shower. The semi-dried blood begins to come off of both of us as the hot water rains down. I break the kiss and smile. "See, it's not so bad, now is it?" She nods and holds me tight against her, a loving yet unsure smile on her face. I pull out the shampoo and then look back at her. I need a lot more shampoo as I just realized she's nearly all fur. I put some of the thick liquid on my hand and reach for her head. Clio, still not too fond of this situation, shyly moves her head away. "Clio, I need to get you clean." I think she's shaking now. I never thought I'd ever meet a hellhound, let alone one that is frightened of something. "I won't hurt you. I promise." She slowly kneels, putting herself at eye level with me. I smile softly and kiss her forehead, making her partially relax. I get to work washing her hair first. I thought my hair was thick, but hers' is on a whole other level. Her hair is super long fur, which means it's super soft and silky. However, it also means that her hair is ridiculously thick and tangles very easily. I pull her into the water to rinse her hair and rub her ears to comfort her. I can tell she's beginning to like the attention this gets her. Once her hair is rinsed, I grab more shampoo and start washing the other fur that adorns her body. I can tell she enjoys this, especially when I wash her upper chest. I hear Clio whimper when I start to pull my hands away to let the water rinse her chest. Instead of letting me pull my hands back, she pulls me tight against her, my face now smothered in her chest. "I'll wash your hair now!" "Wait! I'll put the soap in your hand for you." She holds her giant hand out and lets me give her the correct amount of soap for my hair. I've never been scared of having my hair washed, but no one with literal claws has ever washed my hair. She can tell I'm worried because she backs me into the wall, trapping me. "Relax, I won't kill you." I've heard that one before. She starts massaging the soap into my hair, gently using her claws against my scalp. My face must portray bliss because she smiles and giggles as I close my eyes. She pulls me tight against her, rinsing the soap out of my hair. "I see I'm not the only one that enjoys their head being scratched." I nod my head and relax in her embrace. After some time, I stand up on my own again and continue washing her. Her fur is so thick my hands frequently get stuck, making it hard to remove them without rinsing the soap out. Finally, I need to wash her face. "Okay, I need to wash your face. Close your eyes and come back down to my level." She kneels back down again and closes her eyes. I gently massage the soap into her soft skin, the dried blood slowly coming off to reveal her glowing smile. I rinse all the soap off her face and give her a tight hug when I finish. She opens her eyes and locks them with mine before kissing me. She turns it to passionate making out, causing me to start losing my balance once again. She breaks it after a while, smirking at the thick strand of saliva connecting us still. "I rather like these showers. Thank you for making me get one!" At this point, I'm leaning against her, weak and unable to move. She gently picks me up and carries me out of the shower, putting me down on the sink. I grab a towel and dry myself off and stand up on the floor. I think I'm slowly becoming used to walking while being intoxicated by her. I turn off the shower and then turn to the soaked figure in the corner. "Let's get you dry, love." I slowly walk over to her and start drying her off with the towel. After a long time, I finally get her dry using a combination of the blow dryer and towel. We walk into the bedroom and sit on the bed. "Now for probably your favorite part."
