A week had passed since my incident and I was being released from the hospital today. I looked around the bland white room where people waited. Because it was a hospital didn't mean that it couldn't have colour.

The deep male voice I had heard from when I first awoke speaked urgently to my father.

"Make sure she gets plenty of rest. And let her lay off the electronics for a while. We don't want that incident happening again. Next time you'll be electricuted." The doctor told Dad.

I smiled and nodded at Dr.Harrison.

My mother was collecting my pills at the front desk and signing me out. We headed to the car. The ride home was silent, no one really wanting to talk to break the silence.

My parents quietly exited the car and walked at to the front porch.

"Hunny, you may want to turn up the volume on your hearing aid." My mother said, I barely hearing her.

I obeyed and turned it up. I hated this funny thing that they made me wear. But without it, I couldn't hear anything. It was something I required temporarily from the incident.

My parents opened the door and entered. Reluctantly, I stepped inside.

"Welcome Home Dakota!" A loud burst of people shouted at the top of their lungs.

I winced and grabbed my ears in pain, beginning to fall to the floor. Strong hands caught me before I could fall.

"Easy there, Kody." A familiar voice whispered in my ears.

I turned around to face the person. A complete stranger looked back at me. But he was handsome though. I stared at him, examining his features. The stranger looked back at me confused.

"She doesn't remember you." I heard my mother tell the stranger standing before me.

The young man seemed hurt. "Sh..She doesn't remember me?"

My mother nodded, "She doesn't remember anything up to the age of twelve. The doctor says that she would remember more. We just have to hint her on what is happening now so she'll remember faster." My mother explained.

It was as though I wasn't standing between them.

"My name is Travis." The teenager told me looking hopeful.

Alarm shot through me. This was the same guy that said he slept with Sophia. He was the one who kissed me. He was sick and twisted. I stepped away from him, my eyes wider than usual.

Travis looked at me confused.

"G..Get away from me." I tried to say but no sound came out my mouth. I frantically tried to get away from the physo teen.

Travis reached out his hands to grab me. I panicked more, trying to get away from him more.

I stepped over a chair, causing me to fall to the floor. I got the attention of everyone in the room.

"Kody. Dakota. Calm down." Travis pleaded with me.

He bent down to pull me off the floor. I kicked him in the groin. My dad taught me to do that whenever a boy was troubling me.

Travis pulled away from me, grabbing onto his groin and falling to the floor. I made a ran for it while I had the chance.

I realized that there was about seven people here, which most I didn't know. Mom came up to me.

"Kody. Kody, what's wrong?" She asked alarmed.

I weeped in her hands. I pointed to Travis who was still on the floor.
