Chapter 5

Lisa's POV

Woah! We miss performing! We went up the stage and stood at our respective positions, with our respective instruments ready to be played. After putting my acoustic guitar over me, I went in front of the mic. "What's up SU! I heard a lot of cheering, I looked back at my other members and they gave me a thumbs up.

"We're The ACES. It's good to be back!" We started playing the instrumentals of the first song that we're performing.

"Now, since summer had just ended, we wanted to perform this song just to reminisce the recent summer that we had." I bobbed my head in time with the instrumentals.

"If you guys know the songs that we're going to perform, we want you to sing with us alright?" Hearing the other students was my cue to start singing.

I heard some of them cheered, and some of them saying "I know this!", "I love this song!" It made us happy and even more excited to perform the other songs that we've practiced.

As I was singing this part, Seulgi unnie came in and did some backup vocals with me. Moonbyul then started with her drum bit that lead us to the chorus part of the song.

All of us sang the chorus part and we heard all of the students sing along with us. This is one of the things that I love the most when it comes to performing, it connects us with our audiences in a deeper level. We get to feel, what they are feeling and vice versa.

The backup vocals that we have for this part are really great. Jisoo unnie and Seulgi have really nice voices that makes our performances more colorful.

Holding your hand

When I sang this part, a lot of the students cheered for me. So I gave them a wink.

The chorus came back again and we were having a great time singing with all of the other students. I can even see some of the teachers singing along with us, it made me laugh a little.

The drum bit for this part stopped for a while. I'm singing this lines with my eyes closed to really feel the beat of my acoustic guitar. As the other instruments started to enter again, I jumped then we started singing the chorus again.
