43. Mr.Alien or Mr. bad boy

Avni's Pov -

It's been ten days since I've been meeting Neil in hospital and yesterday he got discharged.

These 10 days were really shocker for me as I've witnessed the different side of Neil Khanna. The one who used to be funny and bubbly. Whenever I met him his face used to lit up. Even though I stayed only for an hour to accompany him, we used to talk alot.

And today is the day, Neil is coming back to college and I'm so excited. But poor boy, he lost alot of lectures which are pretty important for upcoming exams.

"What are you thinking? " Pari's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing, thinking about Neil. " I replied Doodling in back of my book.

"Oh! I see nowadays you are more into Neil. " She says.

"What do you mean?" I asked clueless.

"Like going to meet him in hospital almost everyday and now waiting for his arrival. " She says smirking.

My eyes widened.

"Hey, It's not like that. I'm helping him to overcome depression and pain nothing else. " I said sternly.

"Don't forget what he did with you. As a friend all I want is your happiness avni. " She said softly.

I nodded and looked away.

After few minutes suddenly I heard murmurs and gasps from my classmates .  I turned around to see Neil walking inside of the classroom. He was smiling, but his face was pale and he lost alot of muscle yet he looked handsome.

Neil walked past me and sat at his bench. I passed a soft smile to him before our professor came in.

"Oh gosh, now our sleeping class starts." I huffed and starred at the professor.

College hours were almost about to over, this is the last class. I wanted to talk with Neil but didn't get any chance as we had no free classes and at lunch time he disappeared somewhere. So, I thought to talk with him after college.

We need to talk ,meet me at the playground after this class.

I sent him the message and sighed. Oh yes, I got his number in hospital .

"Hey, "

I looked up from my book and saw Neil coming towards me with a huge smile.

"You are five minutes late. " I said closing the book.

"Professor called me so.. " He says sitting beside me on bench.

I nodded.

"What are you studying miss topper? " he asks looking at my book.

"Physics and you have alot to catch up bad boy. " I grinned.

"I know that but it's okay I can cover up all the syllabus before exams. I've confidence." he says winking.

I rolled my eyes.

"I know, you're good at physics. But don't be over confident. I bet you'd be pulling your hairs studying quantum physics. " I huffed.

"Hey, that's my favorite topic. " he chirps.

"Wow great then! " I hit him with book.

He laughed.

"So, what you wanted to talk? " He asks. His Smile faded replacing with deep frown.
