Day 1~First day

Today is my first day at a new school after my family had to move from Texas to Los Angeles because my father got a promotion. I'm kinda scared but- am I excited? Ummmmm No. No I'm not.

I did not have a lot of friends at my old school but I feel like I'll make a few friends. . . I guess. . .?

I didn't even introduce myself yet. My name is Tatum but my one friend that I had called me Tate. I am 16 and a junior. This is me:

So I decided to wake up bright and early to get ready (obviously). I put on this:

Then I ran downstairs and made some toast and watched some spongebob because I can. I watched seven episodes then the bus arrived. I stepped on that bus and everyone went silent and stared at me. I looked around and saw this really cute guy. Our eyes locked for a second but then the girl next to him kissed him. I'm guessing that's his girlfriend. Great. I'm not even at school and I already want to leave. I sat at the back on my own. What's new. I was one of the last people to be picked up so it didnt take long to get to school. I had to go to the principal's office
so they can give me my timetable.

My first class was Physics. I had no idea where to go so I asked two girls who were right outside the principal's office. One of them told me they had Physics too so they'll walk with me.

We talked all the way to class. They're names were Charli and Addison. I had recognized those names but I didnt know from where. Addison was a senior so she wasn't in mine and Charli's class. On the way to the science lab we walked past the math class. That's where Addison had stopped walking with us.

When we arrived I sat down next to Charli. The cute guy that was on the bus was sitting next to the girl that kissed him. After class I walked up to the cute guy.

Tate: Hi! I'm Tate.
???: I'm Blake. Are you new?
Tate: Yeah, I transferred from Texas.
Blake: Oh! Cool.
???: BABE HURRY UP!
Blake: That's my girlfriend, Amelie.
Tate: She seems. . .nice?
Blake: I'll talk to you later?

I ran to the bathroom. To use the toilet. I wasn't going to cry. Do you think I cry when my crush has a girlfriend. Heck no.

On my way out I saw Amelie. I was not in the mood so I tried to hide from her but she caught me and threatened me. Like what the heck.

Amelie: If I see you with my boyfriend again, I will beat you up.
Tate: Ok.
Amelie: ugh!

Then she walked away.

I decided to sit with Charli who sits with Blake. I tried to not look at Amelie. We talked about me quite a bit. I also made new friends. They're names are: Kio, Noah, Anthony, Quinton, Avani, Dixie, Larray, Chase, Patrick, Calvin, Alex and Kouvr. They were all so nice to me. They even asked me to hang out. It was like "new school, new me" and I was living for it. I had so much friends already and it was only the first day.

The rest of the day was quite boring but during history I slept, sounds normal right? No, I SLEPT WITH MY EYES OPEN! Wtf.

Charli told me that she'll send me her address to hang out so I gave her my number. When I got home I got a notification from Charli telling me her address. Then a notification saying that I was added to a groupchat. It was named: those tiktokers 💫🧚‍♀️💐

After 2 hours I changed into a hoodie and shorts and walked to Charli's house cause it wasn't far from my house. When I saw Charli's house I realised I was friends with Charli D' AMELIO. THE Charli D' Amelio. Wow that's hard to process. I finally got myself together and knocked on her door.

Dixie had opened the door for me. She hugged me tightly and let me in. I saw Blake, Amelie, Noah, Charli and Avani on the couch playing Fortnite.

Tate: The Queen of Fortnite has arrived.
Noah: Yeaaa sure.
Blake: I bet I can kill you in 5 seconds.
Tate: Yea we'll see about that.

I spent hours playing Fortnite with every one. It was so funny seeing everyone get mad after I win a Victory Royal. By the time it was 8pm I told everyone I was gonna go home. When I arrived home I took a shower and watched a few episodes of euphoria. It was 1am when I decided to go to sleep.

So yeah that's my first day of school. I really changed. I stay with the most popular group in school and I'm doing good in my work.
