Out of the blue you asked me if you can court me. I wasn't able to react at first because I have doubts. First relationships usually last for a short period of time. But because I feel your sincerity, I accepted you. I chose to enjoy my life while we were in college.
Ngayon, na-realize kong ang aga ko pala lumandi. Hindi tuloy nagtagal. Hindi ko rin sinabi sa mga magulang ko ang tungkol sa atin. Ang sama ko, 'no? Pinagpalit ko sila para sa'yo.
It's been a year since we broke up but the scar is still in here. Maybe because you were my first love. Maybe because you don't minimize the wound by leaving me without a clue.
Or maybe because I am a fool who kept waiting for you to come back even if time passed.
I hope, as I continue on this journey, I will be able to forget you, bit by bit. Even if I ask for someone's help.
And next time, I won't lie to my family just for a man.
