Feelings [Bethany]

"Sadie!" I keep calling her name as she continues to run away from the building. She doesn't turn to face me, so I keep running after her. She finally stops after we're a good ten minutes away from the building with Mark and Derek. Damn it, Derek knows I like him. And I never got to see his response. All because of Sadie dragging me out. Wait, why?

I snap out of my thoughts and look around until my eyes land on Sadie, who leans against a window of a store.

"Sades" I say as I walk close to her. "Girl, you have to tell me what happened" I tell her in a comforting voice.

"He kissed me, Bethany, he kissed me!" Sadie says.

"Mark kissed you?! How does that work?" I say, shocked.

She looks down, "I.. don't know. We were just talking about everything really, life and so on. Then I brought the topic about you and Derek, then he just got a weird look in his face and kissed me."

I looked at her, "Hey Sadie, whatever happens, I'll help you get through it. Badie forever, right?" She looks up at me and shows a slight smile.

"Thanks Bethers, I'm just nervous of facing him!" Sadie says, sighing.

"But you won't have to worry for at least one week!" I say. She gives me a confused look and waits for an explanation. "Its the switch up week, so you'll be working with another pro! That will give me enough time to talk to Mark and help you figure this out!" I tell her. I can see her eyes brighten at the idea and she gives me a huge hug. "I can always depend on you, would you really do that for me?"

I laugh, "Of course Sadie". I hug her back. She releases from my hug then continues to look at the ground. I know something is bothering her still.

"Hey Sadie, everything's gonna be fine, why are you still acting a little off?" I ask her.

She sighs and looks up so her eyes line up with mine. "I'm just thinking about my boy back home, of what he'll think of this whole situation."

"Its ok Sadie, just tell him what happened, and say it was all a misunderstanding, and you feel nothing towards Mark. He'll trust you, it won't break your relationship." I assure her. Sadie and her boyfriend were loyal to eachother and even when she was here for DWTS and he was back in Louisiana, they were always making time for eachother.

I looked over at Sadie who stayed still, speechless. She looked me in the eye and opened her mouth.

"B-b-but what if it wasn't nothing? I felt a spark, something that I never felt with my boyfriend!" She cried out.

"Sadie, you were just telling me how much your boy means to you before we got here" I told her. Could Sadie be falling for Mark?

She starts to pace around. "I know, I know! And he does, its just when Mark kissed me, I felt this feeling I've never felt before. It was like whatever I feel for him was covered and hidden, and it was revealed with that kiss!"

I put my hands on her shoulders and face directly at her. "Sadie. Listen, we have one week without our partners. I'll talk to Mark, see what he's feeling, and that'll give you time to organize and figure out your feelings too. It'll be ok". She takes a deep breathe in and nodds.

"I trust you Bethany, I know it'll be ok with you helping me" Sadie says. Oh I hope so too, Sadie.
