Pancakes

Alison, Alison!! Get up!
ugh!!am up mum I said groaning out loud
You don't wanna be late on your first day now do you?
No mum I shouted back
who screams so loud this early, you guessed it right my mum,I say sarcastically
I'm pretty sure she had woken up the entire neighborhood.
I just want to enjoy the estasy of sleeping is that so hard for the world to understand,
pftt your so dramatic my mind snickered at me
Um I'm not, I argued back,
I'm I?
ugh whatever I thought back.
I throw my blanket off me as I padded my way to the bathroom. 
I looked at myself in the mirror as I brushed my teeth.
I have gray eyes just like my dad's and dark brown hair, my lips are full, probably one of my best feature, I thought to myself.
After doing my business,
I wrapped a towel round my head and stepped out. (I know what your thinking I ain't naked bbbb).
I brought out a tight top and leather skirt that my mum forcefully bought for me,
I smiled as I remembered that moment.
I ain't a fan of skirts, tight tops and stuff that makes me feel uncomfortable, I love clothes that makes me feel comfortable like joggers, baggy shirt, ripped jeans and hoddies. I wear them all the time, but my mom practically threatened me
Yes! She threatened me, saying
that if don't wear that leather skirt and top she bought for me at least for today, it being my first day at my new school, she won't make me my favorite pancakes every morning
And oh gawd let me just tell you her pancakes are heavenly and
I won't be able to survive without eating at least a bite of it everyday.

She knows my weakness and know I wouldn't want to risk not eating pancakes.
she's so evil, I sign dramatically. I quickly dressed up, grabbed my back pack and went downstairs.       
The aroma of freshly made pancakes hit my nostril,
I couldn't help but drool just as I heard my mom saying

"Alison your breakfast is ready"
I'm coming, I said as I padded to the kitchen
You have 30 more minutes dear so be quick,
my mum said as I devoured the pancakes
Ugh! This is goodddd i can never get tired of your pancakes mom
She chuckled lightly, I know
Am off mom
Come back early today?
I don't know baby, I have two shifts at the hospital today, morning and midnight, so.....she trailed off
Ok mom no problem take care, bye
Bye and do not be rude Alison
I'll try mom it's just that people are annoying I said smirking
I heard my mom chuckle as I walked outside
If my dad had been alive everything would be different
My mom wouldn't have to work her ass off all day and night
My mom,
I love that woman more than I love myself, when my dad died,
I withdrawed into myself shutting out the whole world,
I couldn't feel anything, numbess took over me but my mom did everything she could to bring her daughter out from the hole in which she hide in from the world
After what happened at my former school she knew she has lost her daughter
She took me to to a therapist which did not help because I refused to talk about my past and all the shit I went through.  Although I never told my mom that because if i did she would flip out and get get worked up.
I'm a mess, I said to myself as I entered my car,
It was a birthday present from my dad before life deemed it fit to take him away from me.
My mum had never gotten over him,
I knew that because no matter how had she tried to pretend she is okay in front of me,
I knew she wasn't, I hear her cry almost every night.
I am glad she never resorted to drugs or getting drunk every night just like most parent do when they lose their other half. The only time my mum ever gets drunk is on the date of my dad's death
I wiped my eyes as I turned on my car and drove to my school
Reefhigh isn't far from my house, it's only a 15 minutes drive
I drove into the parking lot.
I have 15 more minutes, I say as i glanced at my phone
The hallway is already crowded as student are rushing to their classes
Shit this is gonna be a long ass day

I went to the mall today and saw a watermelon in a square shape can you believe that.
