I was waiting him to say it again. I wanted him to say the he loves me but it never came. My heart clenched. What kind of person would say the seven letter phrase if they're just on their second week of relationship?

"Why do you look like that? Para kang pinagbagsakan ng langit at lupa."

Raffy sat at the hammock beside me habang ako nakaupo sa maliit na couch. She's holding a watermelon shake on her right hand. I sighed and shook my head. I'm making this worse. Wala naman kaming problema. We're super okay. I should be happy because he did all of these for me. I'm just complicating things.

"Something's bothering you. What is it?" Pagpupumilit ni Raffy. She's looking at me intensely like she was trying to read my mind. I shook my head again.

"Wala nga! How about you? Where's Ezra? He's cute ha," I giggled, trying to change the topic. I hope that she got my message na wala naman talaga akong problema. Wala naman dapat.

"Shut it. Let's not talk about him, okay? Where's your boyfriend slash sugar daddy?"

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a pillow beside me at ibinato 'yon sa kaniya. Muntik pang matamaan 'yung watermelon shake na hawak niya, buti na lang nakailag siya.

"So ano mo si Ezra? Sugar baby? May balak kang paaralin? Wow. What a good deed," I joked at siya naman ang nangbato ng unan. I laughed at umilag sa unan na binato niya.

"I'm happy for you. You finally found someone."

I smiled. I am indeed very luck with Levi. He's someone that I never thought I would ask for.

"You will find someone. Someday,"

Raffy laughed bitterly. "I would never find that someone. I'm not looking for someone. I just need myself to achieve my dreams. I don't need a man. Mabubuhay ako ng wala 'yan. Men are just complications. I just need my crown,"

Napangiti ako. "You'll get it and I would be the first to cheer for you."

Kung hindi ko lang kilala si Raffy ay iisipin ko na naiiyak siya ngayon because of the emotion in her eyes pero bigla agad nawala iyon.

"Corny mo."

Sasagutin ko na sana siya nang biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko. It's my dad. Nagpaalam ako kay Raffy na sasagutin ko lang 'yung call. She nodded and I went inside the villa. I let out a big sigh before answering the call.

"Hello," I greeted. I heard a cough from the other end of the line and I knew it's my father

"Faerrah. You already arrived in Maldives? Levi told me. Are you happy? By now, you should have seen my gift. Nagustuhan mo ba?"

Napapikit ako ng mariin. I am trying to supress my emotions. But I am failing. My tears are already camping in my eyes and I can't afford to stop them.

"That's.. too much. A private plane? Seriously? You're the one telling me to stop spending money on extravagant things." I said with a irritated tone. It's just a mask for my emotion dahil naiiyak na talaga ako. I am truly happy with his gift. I did not expect that but it's also too much.

"It's your birthday, Faerrah. I know how much you love your birthdays and you deserve a wonderful gift like this. I know you love to travel. This could make it easy for you because I know you hate travelling in planes with other people kaya lagi kamg sumasabay sa private jet ko di'ba? I knew this is the perfect gift for you."
