Day 3 Flying Hill, South Carolina

We got in the car, and I drove her home. I walked her to her scary door. She fumbled with the keys before she unlocked it. I walked in after Arizona. She turned to me slowly.

"Are you hungry?" She asked, Her voice a little raspy.

"No, I'm okay."

She looked so beautiful then. It was perfect. I slowly leaned in and kissed her soft, plump lips. I placed my hand in the small of her back, and the other on her chin. I felt like I was spinning. I had butterflies and I smiled in the middle of the kiss. We pulled away after a bit.

I smiled at her, and she smiled right back. She shivered.

"Cold?" I asked.

"A bit." She admitted.

She walked down the hall. i pulled the door shut, and sat on the couch. She came back a  minute later with a big tee shirt and some long basketball shorts.

"I don't know if the shorts will fit. They a bit big on me, but they might fit you." Arizona handed me some folded clothes.

"Okay? What are these for?"

"To sleep in, duh. I got some blankets, you can sleep on the couch." She said before she turned back around and walked off. I guess she just assumed that I'd be staying the night.

She came back with maybe 3 blankets, ans a pillow.

"So, I'm staying the night?" I asked, with a smirk on my face.

She nodded the turned to me. "I mean, if you want to..."

"Yeah, I mean. I had a couple of drinks, and have driven here. It's best if I just stay here, and not get thrown in jail."

"Okay. Here. It gets cold at night." She set the blankets and things on the couch. She turned around and walked through the kitchen, to the bathroom. "I'm gonna hop in the shower!" She yelled at me.

I turned on the television, and only got static. I quickly turned it off and started laying the blankets out on the dirty and stained couch. I pulled off my clothes and put on the ones Arizona had gotten for me.

I heard the water running in the other room. I layed down on the couch and stared at the ceiling. How could someone live here? I asked myself. It's so disgusting. The ceiling was literally falling off. It was chipped and had many rain spots on it.

I put my arm under my head, and the other on my stomach. I sighed. I need to help her. Somehow. She is living in this pig sty. I am living in a nice big house. Its big enough for the two of us. But we don't know each other good enough. I feel so pampered compared to her. Hearing her life story is sad.

I heard the shower turn off. I wonder if she thought about me the same way I think about her. I really like her, and she didn't push me away when I kissed her. maybe, just maybe, she might actually like me just a little bit. Hmm.

She came back into the living room in blue pajama pants and green long sleeve. She was still towel-drying her hair.

"So, I don't really get t.v.. You can watch a movie on the player." She pointed to the movie player sitting on the floor next to the television. " I'm not really that tired, so I'll be reading in my room if you need anything." She smiled at me.

"good night, Arizona." I said.

"Good night, Harry." She smiled once more, before she walked back into the darkness of the kitchen. I got up and turned off the lights. I just layed there and thought about her for a good hour, before I dozed off.
