Chapter 13

      Soon we woke up to mom yelling.

       "You two get up, now." Mom yelled

       "Mom, chill. Just one more day out of school please." I said

     "No, Tiana. You've been out of school for two days and Zharia you skipped yesterday. We are trying to seem normal." Mom says standing waiting for us to get up.

    Zharia just gets up and goes to the bathroom to get ready.

    "Mom, I didn't just decided to get kidnapped on Monday." I said and went in the bathroom as well.

     We decided to go to school and act normal but nothing about our lives our normal.

      "Good Morning, Dad" I said coming in the Kitchen.

     "Tiana, you know what you said to your mother is unacceptable. She wants you to not be so caught of thinking this is life." Dad says sitting in front of me.

    "But this is our life there's going to be someone trying to kill me. Or you. Or even mom. We're not normal, Dad. And I accepted that already." I said

   "But you know what we mean. We dont want you to worry about it. You have school, friends and life outside of all this." Dad says before handing me a plate of pancakes.
   "So do you two need a ride today?" He adds

   " Sure."

   "But soon your going to be driving yourself to school. I'm done being your personal driver. Alright?"

  "Alright." I said as I hugged him.

At School

   "So what do you want to do after school today?" I asked Zharia while we are walking down the hallway.

   "Aren't you going to hang out with Marcel." She says

   "No we should have a girls day because you after everything that's happened in the past two days." I said.

   "Excuse me" someone says from behind us. We turned to see a girl around our aged.

   "Hey?" I said confused because am I supposed to know her or.

   "I know you might not know me but have you seen Earionna." She says

   "No, I haven't seen her really." I said trying to end this whole conversation right now.

    "But you guys are her friends. You should have a clue where she is." This crazy brunette says to me.

   " We got in a fight and she hasn't called or even talked to us. But who are you and why are you looking for her?" I asked concerned.

   "I'm Eryn. And I'm her girlfriend." She says.

    "Oh. Well. Tell me if you find her." I said and we walked off.

   We walked farthest away from that psycho because Earionna poured her heart out to me before she died on how much she loved me. And this chick is now saying she's her girlfriend and I never met her a day in my life.

    "What was that about?" Zharia asks

    "I don't know but if any one asks we haven't seen Earionna. Big Fight and no phone calls okay?" I said

   " Alright." Zharia says.

   And of course after that we tried to have a normal day at school. We sat in  Mr. Donald's class bored out of our minds. It's like hearing all my old bedtime stories dad use to tell me all over again but boring.
    But honestly the only thing that stuck on my mind the whole day was finding out who that girl is. And where did she come from. And will she be a problem in the future. Like how can you tell someone your girlfriend is dead because of your dad was trying to save you. Like you can come out and say it but they're not going to take it so well.

Outside for Lunch

    "This is the first time we've sit here without her." Zharia says looking like she's going to cry.

   "Yeah it has but I bet she's with us." I said trying to comfort her.

   She looks up at me and smiles insteadly.
    "Guess who came to see you?" She says.

     I turn around and Marcel is walking up towards us.

    "Hey, would mind if I have lunch with you two today?" He says

    "Not at all. As long as you don't give me a reason to her dad on you." Zharia says looking very serious.

  "Of course. I see your going to be the protective friend." He says

   "Both of you be on your best behavior, please." I ask of them

   "Right."

  "Of course."

" Anyways, Marcel. There's this girl that's saying she is Earionna's girlfriend." I started telling him the issue cause this can be a big one.

   "Well, she was her girlfriend now." He says with a slight smirk on his face.

    "This isn't funny Marcel." I said as I looked at him.

   "Yeah, well the question is who is this chick because she can't be her girlfriend. Earionna doesn't have girlfriends and she confessed her love to Tiana before she died, so. " Zharia said getting heated.
     I'm guessing she's still getting over the fact that Earionna is gone.

    "Well the plan is to figure out who she is before telling her the news." I said to them both.

   "Okay, since I don't have school I'll try to find anything I can on her. What's her name." Marcel says.

     "I'll just send you the information." I said as I touch the side of his face. I showed him what she looks like and her name.

      "So I don't know if I should be worried or impressed." He says smiling.

      "By what?" I ask

     "That you can get in my head. I've only seen powerful witches do that so easily." He answers

     " My last name is Salvatore but don't forget I'm still a Bennett Witch, hon." I said smiling back

   "I'll get to work then." He says while getting up.

   "All right, call me." I said as he leaves.

       "I think you freaked him out." Zharia says laughing

      "Well, he should be scared messing with me. I'm a vampire-witch. One of kind and powerful,so what are we doing after school."

       After School we decided on having a little party so I asked dad to compel some kids to come and act like they're having fun. Honestly I feel like I learned more about Zharia's boyfriend, Hakeem. He's okay. Honestly I feel like they would have a better relationship if he knew what was going on but you know for his safety and mine we decided not to tell him so.
      The party was a blast. We party until Mom kicked everyone out because we have school tomorrow. So me and Zharia took the party to my room. Mom said go to bed but she didn't say go to sleep so.

    "So, what do you think about Hakeem." Zharia asks me

     "He's cute." I said laughing

   "He's trying to be here for me even though I don't tell him alot."
   
   "Well that's...." I was about to say but my phone started ringing.
    "It's Marcel." I said while answering the phone.

    "Hello"

    "Tiana, I can't find anything because they're not records of an Eryn anywhere." He said sounding worried.

   "What do you mean, Marcel."

  "No one knows of her, Tiana." He says

    "Well we're going to get to know her."
