“Tyler?” Laurelle, Troye’s mom, peeked out the door. “What are you doing here?”

“I’m so sorry,” Tyler stuttered, staggering a bit. “I really needed to see Troye.”

Troye picked up the rose Tyler had brought him. Glancing at Tyler, he said, “Can Tyler stay here? I’m sure he needs somewhere to stay.”

“Well, of course,” Laurelle said matter of factly. “You’re always welcome here.”

Glancing at the tears on both boys’ faces, Laurelle quietly said, “You two apparently have some things to talk about, so I’ll leave you to it. You’re both okay, right?”

Troye nodded, walking in the door, helping Tyler with his suitcase. The two retreated to Troye’s room, where Tyler sat on his bouncy bed, timidly.

“Tyler, you don’t have to be so scared. You’ve been in my room before, remember?” Troye smiled slightly, but he soon changed back to a frown.

“Well, yeah, but we weren’t together last time, and you weren’t mad at me.” Tyler looked at Troye questioning.

Troye sighed. “Tyler, I’m not mad anymore. I mean, I kind of am, but everyone messes up, and you came all the way here to fix it, so you must care about me, I guess-”

“Troye, believe me I care. I care so much that I was sobbing when you left. The entire day. My meeting had to be called off because I was such a wreck, and godammit, when I look at you, my stomach does this weird thing, and I can’t swallow, and, I love you.”Troye pulled Tyler up for a kiss. “I’m sorry, too.”

“You know, the correct response is I love you, too.” Tyler said, drawing his finger over Troye’s lips.

“Is it really?” Troye said, feigning disbelief. Tyler nodded.

“Well then,” Troye leaned in to kiss Tyler, “I love you too.”

He left Tyler blushing profusely.

                                                ……

When Troye came back to the room, he brought two pillows with him, chucking both at Tyler.

“You didn’t book a room in a hotel, right?”

“I hadn’t thought that far ahead,” Tyler said, yawning. He collapsed on the bed. “But I am sleepy.”

“Wait, what if I had turned you down?”

Tyler furrowed his brow. “Uh, I would have gotten a hotel then. But I thought that this was a big enough gesture.” He shrugged.

“You’re lucky that you’re so cute or else I might make you leave.”

Tyler gasped mockingly. “You’d kick your boyfriend out? And I’m tired.”

“Well, it’s your lucky night, since you get to sleep here,” Troye said, gesturing to the bed. “And how long are you staying for?”

“Um, I don’t know. I have to leave in about a week for meetings and work. Maybe I’ll just stay for your birthday.”

Today was Monday in Perth, and Troye’s birthday was next Sunday.

“I have to go back to LA for my birthday.”

“What? Why?” Tyler asked. He knew how much Troye loved his birthday with his family.

“My album’s dropping in a month Tyler. We set it up together, remember? So they want me there by this week.” Troye said this with an air of frustration.

“Okay, that’s okay. We’ll have the best birthday in LA, okay? And you can skype

your parents and everything’s gonna be great, okay?”

“Okay,” Troye said, allowing Tyler to wrap his arms around his body.

“So then, we’ll go back to LA together, right?”

“Yeah,” replied Tyler, “and of course you’re staying with me.”

“Okay,” Troye said. “Let’s go to sleep now.”

The two boys got under the blankets and cuddled. And as Troye and Tyler fell asleep, neither of them would want to change anything about this day.

This is just a filler chapter, sorry it's so short, but I had to give you something because 1.1k reads?! That's absolutely crazy. Thank you all so much. <3
