(Y/n) POV

For some reason Edward came home early and it looked like he was about to kill something, or someone. Esme looked at me with a concerned and worried expression and I returned it. I left it at least an hour before I went up to his room and knocked on the door. "Who is it?" I heard from inside the room.

"It's (y/n)." I responded hesitantly. I really hope he's okay. He then unlocked the door and I took that as an invitation to come in. I opened the door to find Edward laying across his sofa, and he was playing some Debussy. Now I know why he liked me playing Clair de Lune. "Hey, are you okay? When you came home you seemed very... upset." I asked him slightly nervous of the answer. He sat up and invited me to sit on the sofa with him.

"Well, it's your sister Bella. For some reason, the smell of her blood is absolutely... intoxicating to me. I don't understand why. She sat next to me in biology and it took everything I had not to suck her dry right then and there." He explained to me looking disgusted with himself. His words reminded me of a piece of folklore I heard of about bloodsingers. Their blood in particular is irresistible to a specific vampire, and often they end up loving one another. "I think you might be right." Edward said, clearly having heard my train of thought.

"If she is your blood singer, then what do you think you should do?" I asked him calmly.

"I think I should get out of here for a few days. Clear my head. Decide what to do in isolation." He concluded. This made me a little sad that he was going to be gone but if it kept him and everyone else safe then it's for the best. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Also, Jasper wouldn't stop thinking about you today. Just thought I'd let you know." He said with a chuckle. This made me blush slightly and smile.

"My mind has also been on him for most of the day, but Esme and I have been enjoying our time together as well as figuring out what my gift is." This caught Edwards attention.

"Alice said it was powerful, do you have an idea what it is yet?" He asked curiously.

"Esme and I narrowed it down to two known possibilities. Either fire and water manipulation or elemental manipulation." I explained and Edward nodded.

"Both of those are indeed powerful. Think you can handle all that firepower?" He asked with a mischievous smile.

"Yes of course I can. Now where do you think you'll go for some quiet time?" I asked him. He seemed to think about this for a few minutes.

"Maybe just go camp in the mountains for a little while. Just be alone for a bit." He suggested.

"Okay, just be careful of mountain lions." I said to him jokingly, which made him laugh a little.

"As if a lion could take me on." He said happily. "I suppose I'll start packing and getting ready to leave. Would you mind telling everyone where I've gone?" He asks me.

"No I don't mind." I say to him, but before he goes I give him a hug. "I know you're going to think and all, but please be safe. And maybe consider giving her a chance." He knew exactly what I meant and he nodded to me and left. I went back over to the living room and found Esme right where I left her.

"So how'd it go?" She asked me, setting down her book. I took my seat opposite her and started to answer.

"Edward thinks that my sister Bella is his blood singer. So he's going to go camp in the mountains for a few days so he can decide what the best course of action is." I explain to her, she nods in understanding.

"What do you believe he'll do?" She asked me curiously.

"Knowing my sister she'll probably want to interrogate him since he wasn't exactly discrete about the fact that she is the problem. So she won't give him a chance to leave her alone. And I'm hoping Edward will decide to give her a chance." I explain to her and she smiles to me gladly.
