ZYRA'S POV
"Hoy!" I snapped out of my thoughts as someone nearly slapped me.
Napakurap ako habang nakatingin sa naka-crossed arms na si Sarah.
"Ok ka lang? You spaced out 'again.' "
Again?
Ilang beses na ba ito nangyari sa akin?
I sighed at her then smiled.
"Ok lang ako. Marami lang talaga akong iniisip ngayon..." That includes my affair with Carl.
"Gaya ng?" I only looked at her then shook my head. Hindi ko sasabihin kung ano man ang nasa isip ko.
"Wala... Don't mind me. Ano nga pala ginagawa mo dito? Bakit bigla kang nambulabog dito sa office ko?" Nasa office ko siya at nambulabog na lang bigla.
"Eh? Wala naman. Makikichismis lang. " Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. She smiled to me. "LQ kayo ni Carl?" Muntikan ko ng mailaglag ang hawak kong ballpen dahil sa bigla niyang pagsabi nun.
However, I acted normal.
"LQ? What do you mean?" I tried to be as casual as I could.
"Wala lang. Just my instincts telling me that you are."
Ugh! I really hate that instincts!
"Ano kami, lovers para mag-LQ?" I sarcastically said that.
"Affected?" Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin dahil sa sinabi niya. Tumawa lang ito at nagbasa na lang ng magazine. Binalik ko na lang ang pansin ko sa mga papeles ko. I secretly wished for her to go out already.
It is difficult enough that Carl did not contact me for two days!
Two freaking days since we last spoke to each other and he won't even answer all my calls and text messages. What's worse is that he did not scheduled a meeting for the new project. We are supposed to meet for that but he cancelled it and when I asked why, he did not even answer me.
Kinakabahan na ako sa mga kinikilos niya. He might have thought of ending this now. Pero bakit hindi na lang niya sabihin ng diretsa para hindi na ako naguguluhan?
