Chapter 6

He turned around and walked away.

"Ma'am okay na po ba?",kuya asked me, he probably noticed na nakatulala lang ako.

"Y-yes kuya!we can go na po",I said still in shock.

I looked at the window admiring the sunset while still stunned.

Wala namang nakakagulat doon. Its just that he never treated me that way. Saying take care, or greeted me.

Nang makarating kami sa bahay I hugged my mom and kissed her.

"Oh anak, how was your bonding with your 'classmate?'",mom gestured her hands as quotation marks.

"It went fine?", I wanted to change the topic dahil hindi pa ako nakakamove on sa sinabi niya. I suddenly remembered the bibingka. I showed her the plastic of bibingka I was holding.

"Here mi, your bibingka",I smiled.

"You remembered!Akala ko you're so into your hangout eh baka nalimot mo",Mommy smiled teasingly.

I smiled at her and went upstairs to take a bath. I wore my simple long sleeved top and gray sweatpants.

Pababa palang ako nang nakarinig ako ng sigawan. I tried to move closer to hear the conversation.

"You barely come home!", I heard my mom shout.

"Because when Im home laging ganyan trato mo saakin!, Iniiwasan mo ako!I tried to talk to you pero iniiwasan mo lang ako!Ano pang gagawin ko dito?Nandito lang naman ako because of our daughter!",my dad shouted back.

"Anong trato!",inis na sigaw ni mommy.

"Iniiwasan mo ako!Parang lagi kang may tinatago!!, Our maids reported to me na kapag magisa ka lang sa bahay may kotse na pumupunta di-",hindi ko na sila pinakinggan at nagdabog paakyat. I tried to make my footsteps as loud as I can so that they'll notice na narinig ko ang usapan nila.

I slammed my door at nilock ito.

I hugged my knees and cried. "Anak come out!Im sorry!maliit na misunderstanding lang yon",my mom sounded upset.

"Anak please?",I heard my dad trying to sound gentle.

I didn't answer and just laid down and cried myself to sleep.

Nagising ako dahil sa gutom. Right, hindi ako nagdinner.

I looked at my clock,2 am na. I went downstairs quietly so that no one will come at me and tells me na maliit na misunderstanding lang yung pagsigawan nila. I brought my phone with me.

Kumuha ako ng lasagna sa ref at ininit ito. While eating I opened my messenger and typed a message to my friends.

Sydney Morgan: hey guys?still up?usap tayo.

Shekinah Franchezka: lagi akong gising.

Letitia Zandra sent a photo.

I laughed at the photo she sent. She was looking at the camera and showing her double chin.

Sydney Morgan: maganda ha.

Shekinah Franchezka: HAHAHAHA wala si Macey eh maaga matulog yon.

Letitia Zandra: anyways bakit?may problem ba?

Sydney Morgan started the call.

Letitia Zandra joined the call.
