For as long as anyone could remember Amanda Garcia was never a patient person. She didn't sit back and wait for something to get done she got up and did something herself. So if it took someone too long to admit something to her she would rush them out of it. But that was who she was she knew one day she would wait too long and miss something bigger then she could ever imagine.
"Amanda slow down we're getting there." The young girl held the dance phone in her hand as she had tugged at her nails just up under her tooth.
"Everyone else's parents are here why aren't you guys." Amanda spoke in a short hushed but very rushed. She never could quite get the hang of waiting for anything.
"Sweetie the recital hasn't started yet, we aren't late." Her father spoke over the phone. She could hear her brothers babbles in the back as she had let out a short huff.
"Hurry though, or you'll miss your seats." Amanda spoke as she had listened to her mothers short laugh from the other end of the phone. Brady knew the urgencies in all of his daughters rushed statements.
"We'll be there Amanda watching you dance, okay now go finish getting ready." Brady spoke as he listened to his daughter give a short and defeated sigh.
"Okay daddy, I better see you both in the crowd." Amanda spoke as she had let the line go dead as she placed the phone back onto the table. Headed over the way towards the rest of her class. Sticking by Bree and Darbie in line.
Even as she had grown Amanda didn't know the term 'patience' it didn't follow in her dictionary of words. Which in turn became something that got her in trouble. Over rushing her homework assignments, she became the girl who couldn't stop and wait.
"Amanda the assignment is wrong, you're not taking your time to solve the equations." Her teacher spoke as she had handed back the paper. A very prominent F rested on the top of the paper as Amanda had slammed the paper down.
"Well maybe if you taught the lesson faster I'd understand." Amanda states loudly as she stood from her seat. This gave the rest of the class something to turn and look at. The teacher let out a very deep sigh.
"Amanda I've explained this too you, I can't quicken up the pace of this class when it will hurt other students." The teacher spoke as Amanda had crossed her arms over her chest.
"Well it's going to slow and effecting me. So what do you want me to do? I gave you a solution and you don't take it." Amanda states as she had let out a deep huff from her chest as the teacher had set the rest of the papers down on a students desk.
"Alright come on too the office then, we'll get your classes switched to a quicker one." The teacher spoke as Amanda picked up her bags. The third time this week she took the walk to the office. The teacher behind her so she would hear the same sentence.
"Amanda there aren't any classes that work faster then the one you're in." The councilor states as Amanda had huffed.
"Well then it's still not fast enough." Amanda states.
For years it was like pulling teeth with the girl. To get her to settle down and have a longer patience line. While it started to work the girl still wasn't the most patient person around. She still rushed things in an attempt to lessen her wait. With her aging her patience was soon matched with a new emotion, her anger. Something that doubled in her life with each passing day.
