"Mom! Come on I have to be there soon" I yelled from the doorstep.
"Jayde I'm coming, I can't find Bayli's blanket. Have you seen it?" Mom yelled from up stairs. I signed in frustration.
"It's in the back seat, MOM HURRY UP!!" I yelled. I heard her come running down the stairs, her keys jingling ink her hand. She picked up my 9month old brother up out of his high chair and passed him to me.
"Strap your brother into his seat please" mom asked as she shooed me out the door and locked it. I walked to the car and placed Bayli into his chair and climbed into the passenger seat next to my mom. Soon enough she was starting the car and we were on our way.
"Mom can we stop and get a drink please?" I asked. We were far from home but not too far from the academy. I was so thirsty, I hadn't had a drink since we left and we'd been traveling for 2-3 hours. Mom gave a short nod and pulled into the nearest gas station.
"Could you get some gas while your in there too please?" Mom asked. I nodded and got out of the car heading inside. I grabbed 2 bottles of V and a small calcium milkshake for Bayli. Placing them on the counter I payed for them and the gas.
Turning around I saw the dark figure of a boy. His skin a dark tanned brown and his hair a dark caramel brown. His eyes covered with dark black sunglasses. He was tall and muscly. Becoming aware of my staring he turned and looked at me, flashing a dashing white smile.
I blushed and hung my head walking out the door fast.
I pumped the gas and climbed back into the car. Before pulling out of the gas station I turned and looked back at the door hoping to catch a quick glimpse of the mysterious male whom had stunned me. He stood by a sleek black jaguar car and watched our car pull out. Some how I could sense his eyes meet mine and my heart raced. Who was this guy?
About an hour and a half we finally arrived at my new school the light blue sign out the front of the huge gates reading "Moonstone academy: school for the gifted"
We were finally here...
I looked up at mom and smiled to which she responded with a shaky one.
"Mom are you ok?" I asked her.
She nodded "Yeah honey. Its ok. I just hope that this school is going to be better this time" She frowned.
Over the past few years I had recently discovered my true form. I am and Ice fairy one of the few that have existed in centuries. Last year Mom sent me to a school that vowed to help me to train and become aware of my abilitys but well lets just say things didn't go to plan. The school was shut down by the ministry of Immortals, who are the council of all mythical creatures as mortals like to call us. Alot of people died that night and I was badly injured ending up in the hospital. So mom decided she'd send me to a different school. And although she is worried, I feel confident that this school will do wonders.
"Dont worry Mom. Its a new school. This school has a very high reputation. I'm sure I'll be ok" I assure her.
She nodds wairly, then sighs. " I love you baby" She says leaning over to kiss my cheek.
I kiss her back and smile " I love you too" I say giving her a reasurring hug.
We climb out of the car and she helps me pull my bags out. With one last hug and kiss and a hug for Bayli, Mom gets into the car and she leaves. Leaving out the front of the school.
I sighed and thought the same thing as she, I sure hope this school is better then the last.
