Chapter 1: I'm Like Internally Dying

From my knowledge, there is no private school in Sacramento, California called Rayson Academy. I simply made that up. There is a video of the flips that Cat can do (in the story she is best known on the squad for her unbelievable flips).

I decided to write a cast list telling you guys who is who and what they do.

Cat Lincoln- HS senior, 17 years old, Zach's gf, Cheerleading Captain and flyer

Zach Dallas- HS senior, 17 years old, Cat's bf, Grey's best friend Football captain and quarterback

Dani Sheldon- HS senior, 17 years old, Cat's best friend, Girl's soccer captain

Grey Logan- HS senior, 17 years old, Zach and Cat's best friend, Football running back

Liz McCurdy- HS senior, 17 years old, Zach's ex gf, Cheerleading co-captain

Andy Cander- HS senior, 17 years old, president of the Senior Class and Beta Club and Model United Nations member

Hannah Fryer- HS senior, 17 years old, Cat's Friend, cheer squad flyer

Alli Logan- HS sophomore, 15 years old, Grey's little sister

Cat's POV

Today was Monday, the first day of the second month of school. Right now is lunch and and I'm sitting at my usual table with my best friend and the cheer squad. "Hey babe," I said to Zach as he came towards my lunch table. I got up and ran over to Zach wrapping my arms around his neck while he picked me up and spun me around.

"Hey Cat," he kissed me and then put me back down. "Babe, I got to go. They guys need me on the field, but I'll walk you to class."

"Promise?"

"Promise." I gave Zach one last kiss before watching him go over to the door leading to the field. Once he opened the door, he looked over to me and sent a wink. I smiled and went back to the table that I was sitting at before. Zach and I have a relationship where we aren't clingy and annoying and when you are with us, you don't feel like a third wheel. We have a pretty good balance between friends and our relationship. We have a certain field of trust with each other and I love that about us.

I was sitting at a table with Dani, Hannah and the rest of the cheer squad which unfortunately included Miss Liz McCurdy. Liz and I used to be friends in elementary school before she told Max Davidson that I liked him in the forth grade. Dani has been with me from kindergarden until now and we share a mutual hatred for Liz. When I sat back down in my usual seat next to Dani, I got out my packed lunch from home and started to take the things out. Hannah is one of my friend's also. She may be going into the best friend category really soon.

"So, I heard that Grey's having a party on Friday after the game. You going?" Dani asked me this before eating the cheese lasagna on her school tray. The school food here wasn't bad, I just preferred to bring my own lunch.

"Is that a trick question? He's my best friend. Of course I'm coming," I responded excitedly as I pulled out a bag of strawberries for my lunchbox. Dani giggled and put out her hand as I handed her a strawberry. I go to Rayson Academy. It's a private Christian school here in Sacremento, CA. Since we are a private Christian school, we aren't like schools that you may see in the movies, but we still do have social ranks. Grey throws some of the best parties, but we don't have the party expectations of drinks and sex. We simply know how to have a good time while being sober and clean (well, most people know how to anyway).
