Chapter Eleven - Trick or Treat

The next day the media and TV were again stirred up with news of the attack on the police station by unknown people around 3 am. The intruder broke into the prison by injuring 2 policemen, and killed 3 others, damaging the CCTV, and kidnapped a prisoner by destroying the lock using a sickle.

The police suspect the three cases of the museum robbery, assault on the idol, and abduction of prisoners are connected and the culprit is the same person. All CCTV footage was collected and the police concluded the provisional characteristics of the suspect as a big man, hunchbacked, black skin, and had a sickle.

But the three young men in Kong's room immediately guessed the culprit was no other but the goat demon.

"We must immediately arrest him before he kills and injures more people..." Sarawat said emotionally.

"I didn't expect the third case to be related to a goat demon..." commented Tine.

"Yeah, me too...." commented Arthit. "We were fooled by the title of the article..."

"I think we can find him by investigating the information about the fanboy..." Kong chimed in, then typed something on his cellphone and showed everyone that the fanboy happened to be a student majoring in photography on the same campus as them.

Without wasting time, they're dividing the task, Arthit and Kong went to visit the fanboy's dorm, while Tine and Sarawat checked the campus's CCTV, to find if the goat demon ever shows up on the campus with the fans.

Arthit opened the door using a lockpick and found the room was clean and neat, even the bed was untouched but personal items such as luggage, clothes, toothbrushes, books, etc. were gone, indicating the owner had moved out.

When he was about to leave, Arthit accidentally saw a photo falling under the table and immediately picked it up, then showed it to Kong, a photo of a fanboy with his idol actress, but what caught his attention was a goat behind them that was chewing grass and tied to a pillar.

From the campus they straightly went to the location showed in the photo which is a villa in the countryside, located not far from the farm.

Once arrived, Arthit immediately separated himself from the group and investigated around the villa, while Tine and Kong pretended to be the lost students and visit the villa to ask for help, while Sarawat stalked the two from a distance, in case there are demons around.

A tall and thin man welcomed them and invited the two to enter. Tine said that they were separated from the group and a friend of theirs is missing, he then showed the fanboy's photo and asked if the man had seen him.

The tall man looked uneasy even his movements were unnatural and looked frightened. He spilled water several times and always glanced at the stairs. The two of them exchanged glances and were suspicious, then made plans to investigate it.

Meanwhile, Arthit entered an empty warehouse behind the villa because he followed the scent of chicken demons. He stepped in carefully while scanning his surroundings and saw a dead chicken in the middle of the room, so he decided to check on it. However, when almost reach it, suddenly he stepped on something on the floor that was covered by rubbish.

Next, from under the floor, a ring suddenly appeared and tied his legs together, then spun like a spring metal, wrapped around his body up to his neck and leaving only his head.

A second later, someone showed up and laughing.

"Finally I got a chance to talk to you alone without being disturbed..." she grinned. "I thought the white snake demon was powerful, but it turns out your ability is only this much?"
