Joseon (Chosun) - was a Korean state founded by Taejo Yi Seong-gye that lasted for approximately five centuries. In the modern day it is now one of the famous city in the world, Seoul.

Prologue
The crown princess' death caused me and had broken my heart to pieces. Seeing her dead body floating in the palace's river made me feel bad even more. I'm her prince. We were living in the same palace, but I wasn't able to protect her. I gave her the best guards to guard her and be with her, but it was useless. I'm her prince, I should be the one to protect her but now it's all too late.
"Your highness." one of my servants bowed and came towards me.
"We have investigated everything. A poison killed our princess, your highness." I stopped and turned my attention to my servant.
"Someone killed her!" I yelled causing them all to bow their heads and feel bad even more.
"Prince Lee Gak..." but then I cut him off.
"Hire the best people to investigate this matter. But this matter can't be spread all over Joseon. For the sake of the princess."
"Yes, your highness."
I can't help my tears from falling as I watch the Palace guards and the other servants cover Princess Hwa Yong's body in the river. I can't accept the fact that I didn't do anything to save her and be with her. I can still remember her sweet smile and cute laughs from our last night's dinner. The way she made me feel complete whenever she's around me.
