A/N : Ok guys, this is my first story on wattpad, and this is not a fan fiction of anything, I just thought of it. This story does have real people's first names, but just like in real-life, me in this story can't remember last names at all. Hope you enjoy, and I would appreciate comments to tell me how to make this better.
Love,
Iluvs2read aka Alexis ;)

Chapter 1
The Beginning
Beep. Beep. Beep. My alarm clock was going off. "Ugh." I rolled over and slammed the snooze button with my fist.
"Alexis! Get up and eat some breakfast!" My mom yelled.
I could hear her, but the only thing that registered in my mind was that I was still half-asleep, and that it was already 9:00.
"Mom! Why didn't you wake me up?!"
I rushed to get ready for school, throwing on a wrinkled shirt I picked up from the floor, and left my black pajama shorts on, seeing as how I wear gym shorts as my main pj's.
I ran a hand through my greasy hair, which, by the way, was greasy because I had thought I was going to shower this morning.
"Alexis, get moving! The bus is coming in three minutes!"
"Coming!" I yelled, knowing I would pay for this later.
I raced out of the house, grabbing an apple on the way out. I sprinted the whole way down the road, and as soon as I got to the bus stop, the bus pulled up.
"You've gotten faster," Shelby noted, watching me with an amused expression as I caught my breath.
I glared at her in between my deep breaths.
"You would know, wouldn't you? Watching me run everyday to catch the bus while you get your dad to drive you." I said while gulping in huge amounts of air.
I followed Shelby, climbing onto the bus and ripping a chunk of my apple off.
I stared out of the window, sitting by myself. Usually I would sit with my twin sister Ashley, or my friend Jamie, but ever since they made the soccer team they have been up and at school by 6:30 every morning. It was a little lonely at first, but I've gotten used to it.
As I looked out the window, I saw the weirdest thing. A man stood slouching, with his shoulders sagging, on the side of the road. As soon as he realized the bus was coming, he made a strange gurgling, rasping sound, and staggered towards the bus as it zoomed by, with his arms outstretched.
I looked at Shelby, who was sitting next to me. "Did you see that guy?" I asked while pulling my hair into a ponytail so it wouldn't look so dirty.
She looked at me with a grossed out expression on her face. "Yeah, what a creeper. Looks like someone went a little overboard on the drinking last night..."
She said while rolling her eyes. We laughed, and then started talking about the times we had seen really drunk people, and singing along with the radio. The strange man completely left our heads, out of sight, out of mind.
Chapter 2
Science Class
After I got of the bus, I started walking towards the stairs of the bus loop.
I personally think that it was stupid to put those stairs there, especially since this school is made up of arrogant and rude 7th and 8th grade students.
