Chapter 7

After our joyous dinner, I immediately went to sleep dahil may pasok na the next morning.

I was such in a good mood so I didn't shout at my lovely alarm clock.

Same routines I brush my teeth, apply powder et cetera, et cetera.

"Good morning anak!",she cheerully greeted me.

"Good morning mommy!good morning daddy!",I leveled their cheerfullness.

"Oh anak come here and eat breakfast na, ang aga mo ngayon ha?",Dad said while taking a sip of his coffee.

I laughed cutely. There are two reasons why I woke up this early.

"Good mood lang po dahil ang saya ko sa dinner natin last night.",I said.

"Talaga?ayon lang ba yung dahilan?",my mom asked.

Im excited to see Phil. Kase duh diba may dare. Yun lang naman yun.

"Opo",I laughed nervously.

After our small talks, nagpahatid na ako sa driver. He dropped me off in front of our school.

"Thank you kuya!take care",I said sweetly and closed the car door.

When I arrived, there I saw Macey standing while smiling at me.

"Good morning Macey ko!",I said and placed my left hand on her right shoulder.

"Good morning",she said shortly.

"Sayang you left early yesterday.",I said.

"Its okay lang naman, maybe next time",she smiled at me.

"Helloooooo",Chezka said.

"Hey good morning!",I smiled with my teeth.

"You look...weird",Chezka said

Im probably overdoing my smile. I just did my normal smile.

Inintay nalang namin si Zandra at nagpunta na kami sa classroom.

Pagpasok namin sa classroom, bumungad agad saakin si Phil. He's looking directly at me. Lumapit ako sakaniya.

"Why are you staring?", I said trying not to sound happy. "I look pretty noh?" ,I teasingly asked him.

Umupo nalang ako sa upuan ko and inayos ang bag ko.

I was shocked when something blocked my eyes. Dumilim yung paligid ko.
Someone covered my head with a piece of clothing.

Tinanggal ko yung damit na nakapatong sa ulo ko and recognized my jacket.

"Uy jacket ko toh ah!",I smiled playfully.

I turned around and saw Philip looking at me without emotions.

"Thank you!",I said.

"I look pretty noh",he mocked me.

My cheeks turned red dahil kaya pala siya nakatingin sakin dahil ibibigay niya yung jacket ko, not because nagagandahan siya sakin. Oh god Christiena, kahit kailan ka talaga.

Nagsimula na ang klase. Hindi naman gaano kahirap ang mga diniscuss samin. So I can say na chill lang yung araw ko na to. I wanted to do something extreme.

So I decided to ask Phil to sit with me during lunch because Im stupid.

Pagkatapos ng third subject namin ay lunch time na. Bumaba na kami sa cafeteria.

"Hey, hindi muna ako sasabay sainyo today pwede?",I asked permission.

"Why?",biglang tanong ni Macey.

"Uhm yayayain ko maglunch si Philip", I said trying not to stutter.

Natahimik naman si Macey at nagsalita si Chezka."nako pag hindi pumayag yan nakakahiya ka",Chezka and Zandra laughed.

"Osige humayo ka na",Zandra said while still laughing.

Inirapan ko nalang sila and hinanap si Philip. Inikot ko ang mata ko sa loob ng cafeteria, wala siya dito.

I checked the school's field dahil minsan may mga students na kumakain don.I was right, he's there.

Sumenyas ako sa mga kaibigan ko na pupuntahan ko lang si Philip sa labas and they nodded.

Tumakbo ako sakaniya."Hey Phil!",Sabi ko habang hingal sa pagtakbo.

He raised his brow."ano?"

"Sabayan kita magluch!!",I almost screamed. Nag indian sit ako sa harap niya while he was eating his lunch packed in a container.

"Wow!did your mom made that for you?Can I have?",Im not faking it. It actually looked delicious.

"Hey!",nilayo niya sakin yung baon niya. "Wala ka bang kaibigan?bakit ka nandito",He asked.

"Ikaw?bakit magisa ka dito?wala kang kaibigan noh",tanong ko sa tanong niya.

He rolled his eyes,"why are you here?naiirita ako sa boses mo. Ang tining ang sakit sa tenga"

I laughed at him."okay Philip",I tried to sound like a guy.

I saw his lips smile a bit pero iniwas niya ang mukha nya.

Hinawakan ko ang pisngi nya para iharap siya sakin."ngumiti ka!that means bibigyan mo ako ng lunch mo!",I said while laughing.

He pushed his lunch to me."ayoko na, iyo na yan".He said and looked away.

I was actually surprised dahil binigay niya pero syempre tatanggapin ko!masama tanggihan ang grasya!

"Wow thank you E.B.!",I smiled sweetly.

I started to dig in when he said something that stopped me from eating.
