Chapter 6

Lisa's POV

Who would've thought that that was the reason why we were called??

Flashback

We sat in front of the principal's table, all of us are pretty calm except Jisoo unnie, she's fidgeting in her seat. Before the principal can even say something, unnie immediately talked, "We're sorry about the songs okay?? It was Park Chaeyoung! She chose the songs for us, please spare me from this!"

The room was silent after her sudden outburst. After a few minutes, the principal started laughing, we all joined in and laugh as well. Well, Jisoo unnie is pretty funny. She looked at the principal dumbfounded.

"I called the four of you here for another reason.", the principal says while chuckling. Unnie finally calmed down after hearing him.

"Do you want to know the reason why?" All of us nodded and waited for him to start talking again. "After your performance, all of the staffs wanted to talk about something related to your band..... We want you guys to perform every Friday after the morning ceremony."

I turned over to my friends, all of them had sparkles in their eyes, I'm pretty sure I have in mine too. "Why though? Won't it be a conflict for the first classes?", asks Seulgi unnie.

"We already know that it won't be a problem. We made all of the first classes in the morning as homeroom, so the students won't really miss anything." After explaining everything to us, and letting us know that we won't have to compromise anything, all of us agreed, and say our thank yous to the principal.

End of flashback

We are now walking towards the cafeteria because apparently, we took longer than we thought in the office. When we got in, we immediately spotted Chaeyoung sitting with a lot of food in front of her. I run towards her, "Chaeyoung ah!!!" She look over and gave me an irritated look.

"Don't disturb me! I'm eating!" I chuckled and gave her cheeks a peck. She smiled lightly and continued eating. Soon enough, my other friends came to the table. Slow pokes. Jisoo unnie gave me a glare, I stuck my tongue out to her. I know she wants to sit beside Chaeng, but I like teasing her so....

Instead of getting my own food like the others, I just shared with my friends since I don't feel like standing up. We told Chaeng why we were called to the office, to say that she was proud of us was an understatement. She was there through the ups and downs with us. We sometimes have fights in our group, and she would be the one to bring us back together. We love her, but someone in our group loves her more. You know who.

We were just talking about random things, Chaeng also told us that we didn't really missed anything this morning, for the whole week we wouldn't be doing anything much. This morning, while we were at the office, the teachers just announced that for this week, we will be finding out what clubs we were going to join and such. Again, nothing much to do. They just wanted to give us time to familiarize and realize that it is the start for this school year.

While we were talking, Seulgi unnie stood up and went over to Irene unnie to greet her and lead her to our table. Seulgi was blocking my view of Irene unnie, so I didn't mind them and continued eating. I was busy annoying Chaeng when I heard someone cough. I look over and saw the woman of my dreams.... Just kidding... Or am I? I am.... Not

She is sitting right next to Jisoo, I looked at Jisoo unnie and she gave me a smug smile. I mouthed to her "She's mine." Unnie laughed loudly that caught the attention of everyone at our table. I gave her a glare as a warning, then pointed at Chaeng. She immediately understood, so she kept her mouth shut. Good.

I looked at the girl again and started talking, "Hi, you're new here? Haven't seen you before."

She gave me a small nod, "Yeah, I'm an exchange student from New Zealand." I'm shocked, how can she speak Korean fluently. Apparently I said that out loud and Jisoo unnie started laughing again, I looked at her confusedly.

"Cause she IS Korean! Isn't it obvious?" I looked at the cat-eyed girl again and analyzed her features. Unnie is right, but....

"How did you know that??...." I think deeply and made a realization, "You're stalking her?! I thought we were friends? I thought you like Chaey---" She immediately laughed loudly with an awkward expression. I looked between Jisoo unnie and Chaeng, both of them are blushing while our other friends are laughing silently. They'll be together before this week ends, I'm sure of it.

"I know, because just like you and Chaeng, me and Jennie here are cousins." All of us now have our attention towards Jennie. Her name sounds familiar. Argh! I'm thinking too much, maybe because she's unnie's cousin that's why she seems familiar.

Jennie gave us an awkward smile with a cute little wave. She introduced herself again, "Hi guys! I'm Jennie Kim, 18 years old, Korean, you can call me Jen. And yes, Jisoo unnie is my cousin."

While she was introducing herself, she looked at each one of us. She really looks like an angel. Jisoo unnie snorted, and I saw Jennie's cheeks starting to get some color. What happened?

I look at my other friends and they were all chuckling, I gave her a quick glance and saw that she was smiling shyly.

"You know, if you like my cousin, you can always tell me you know?" After hearing Jisoo unnie say that, I immediately feel my cheeks heat up. I gave her a glare, "The same goes with you unnie." When I saw unnie grew red, I gave her a little smirk. Two can play at that game.

Our "classes" already ended, all of my friends agreed that we should go eat somewhere tonight to celebrate our successful performance, and to welcome Jennie. I went to the parking area and saw my baby, I quickly run towards her.

"My baby!" I hugged her tightly and gave her a quick kiss. "Did you miss me??"

I heard someone laughing, so I quickly turned around and who I saw made me blush quickly. "Wh- what are you doing here?"

Jennie came closer, "I was waiting for Jisoo unnie, since I'm going with her. What are YOU doing?" She chuckled.

It took me a while to answer her, ".....Nothing." She just laughed and went beside Jisoo unnie's car, how did I not notice her standing there and that it was unnie's car?!

It's embarrassing! She caught me talking to my Ford Mustang GT. Yes, my car. No one has ever saw me talk to one of my cars, not even my friends, and to think that I'm always with them and I've only met Jennie today.

"You're cute." I quickly looked at her, she had a small smirk on her face. Instead of being a blushing mess in front of her, I tried to gain my confidence back. When it comes to flirting, Lalisa Manoban is number one. Wait, is she even flirting?

"Well... You're hot." I scanned her from head to toe. I saw her shiver, I didn't even do anything yet. See? I told you.

It's almost 20 minutes now, since she last told me she was waiting for unnie, she even told me to go ahead already, but I wouldn't do that. What if someone will walk up to her and act indecently? She's beautiful, someone would really get attracted to her, especially the bad guys, and I can't let that happen. I won't let that happen.

"You can just come with me. Let's wait for them there." I offered, I know she was about to decline so I started talking again. "I'll let unnie know okay? You're safe with me. I promise." She nodded slowly. I opened my car's door for her, she went inside and I closed it, then jogged to the other side and went in.

I started the engine then I heard her talk again, "I like your car.", she says as she's looking around.

"Date me then it'll be yours too." I gave her a wink, she blushed almost immediately. I laughed, she's cute. She looked away to hide her blushing cheeks. I shook my head and pulled out of the school's parking lot.
