~Chapter 1 The beginning~
The war in Afghanistan sprung hot like a wild fire again. You being the girlfriend of a army boy had to accept that fact. You hoped that he wouldn't get that phone call. That dreadful phone call from the army base telling him to pack his stuff. It scared the crap out of you to think that you may loose the boy that you love so dearly and can't live without.
"Hey Melissa, how are you feeling?" Blake asked.
"Scared out of my right mind." Melissa replied.
"Hey now, you know that I'll never leave you."
"Not in a million years?"
"Not even."
They turn their heads to the Television and cuddle to reminisce about their past.
As you can see, Melissa and Blake are very in love and this stupid war can break this relationship apart.
Melissa was happy with Blake decision to join the army. You see in earlier years he dreamed of being a famous lacrosse player. Melissa didn't really care for his decision of the lacrosse life, but was joyful when Blake and his brother went and joined the army.
Blake has never actually been to war. He just went away with his brother for a few months for training but not for as long as a war would take.
