Narrative perspective

Montgomery De Le Cruz, otherwise known as 'Monty' was texting Bryce Walker about the party that is hosted by Hill Crust students. While texting bryce, he hears his dad yelling his name and to come downstairs.

Montgomerys narrative

I was in the middle of texting bryce, but then my drunk asshole of a father called my name. I went downstairs to see what he wanted. "Are you going out?" He said while looking at me disappointed as usual. I nodded with a blank face. He handed me some money and told me to bring a six pack home when i come back. I was about to walk out the house but my dad wanted to be an extra of a shitty guardian and say, "if you don't bring me my damn seis paqueté when you get home, I'll bring you my derecho gancho!" His Right hook in Spanish. Yup! He abuses me about everyday, as if him not caring about me making it back safely wasn't enough. I wanted to just rage on him, But like my mom use to say,

'Respect your elders'. Sounds like a crock of shit if you ask me. Speaking of my mother, she left me with my dad and took my sister, Estela away since she didn't want her

Winston's perspective

I was sitting on the balcony while the party was going on. Drink in one hand and soon 'guilt' on both. I thought this party was a mistake to come to
Until i saw that range rover. The one that belong to 'The King Of Liberty High." Well was. However, there was this boy who i knew i would fall for the moment i saw him. He wore a green and black flannel with a blue t-shirt under and a bold black jean pants. People gave him looks. Maybe cause he looked poor or wasn't white. I looked at him cause i saw probably the hottest man I've seen in a while. I turned to one of my 'asshat' friends and asked, "Who's the Latinx?" I said with a curious face. He turned towards him and shrugged. When Bryce went inside, that boy stood there for a moment and then followed him, but not until we exchange glances. I smirked after he went inside. I waited a few minutes to go inside so i didn't seem 'desperate.' I saw him and bryce already playing with some girls a game.

When i was walking into the party, i saw this boy looking at me. He had this brown curly hair, white jeans, a blue sweater, some rich kid shoes, and a watch that was probably more than the rent my drunk fucker dad pays. I'm not no queer but that boy looked good. When i walked past him, we shared glances and i raised an eyebrow at him. I walk inside and join in on what bryce and a group of girls are doing. I joined the game of suck and blow. While we were playing, one of the girls call the boy i saw outside the party. I learned his name is winston. Sadly...Thankfully he shook his and walked upstairs. I wanted to go see that boy and i told bryce and the others that i was going for a piss. "Okay brother, don't take so long." Bryce said while smiling. I went upstairs to pretend i was looking for a bathroom but i was really looking for winston. I saw the boy inside of a room looking at vinyl records. "Yo where's the fucking bathroom?!" I yelled to get his attention. Then i "accidentally" walked into the room. "Not the bathroom friend. And don't piss on the bed, Rumor has it Purcell isn't much into that." He said. I chuckled. Him and i looked at each other in the eye for a moment until he got up and walked past me to close the door and lock it behind me. I turned around with a blank expression. He walked closer to me and we exchanged stares again, but them he kissed me. The moment his lips met mine, i grabbed him by the collar with one hand and hold a fist in the other. What the hell was i doing? Why was i being so aggressive? I can see some fear in his eyes when i did that. "Easy.." he said softly while holding my back. I realized at this moment. I think i like this guy. I then pulled him in and kisses him back. Then our lips were inseparable. I pushed him down to his knees and unbelt my pants. He smiled at me while he was about to go down on me. He then started giving me a blowjob while i was holding his hair. I started moaning and thought about what everyone might say if they found out i was a f*ggot and what i was doing right now. I just let it happened. I told him i was about to come and he swallowed. He grabbed a marker from the corner of the bedroom and took the cap off. "If you ever wanna talk or hangout, call me." He said while writing his number on a paper and giving it to me. I looked at it and put it in my pocket. "Im winston by the way." "Monty." I said with a voice crack. I ran downstairs to go back to the group and left winston alone in that bedroom. I felt like shit.
