Chapter 39

Y/n's P.O.V

How dare that Chua bad mouth Hwenji!! Just because she doesn't know much about Hwenji doesn't mean she has the rights to assume things!!

As for Chae.. I feel like two heavy anvils landed on my chest but when Chae defended Hwenji, One heavy anvil lifted. It made me breathe just for a bit..

“Jungkook.. From the very beginning.. You were planning on killing Taehyung?” I asked. He slowly nodded, “I've thought about it so many times.. but when he tried killing me, my answer was final”

I'am still on Taehyung's side, nothing can change that.. but thinking about an escape from this house is difficult. Even if they're only three people, they are skilled in fighting and knocking down one defenseless person..

“Y/n.. I'm sure you look at me as a whole new person now but know that there's one thing left unchanged.. Even if I despise my hyung.. I still love him” Jungkook avoided eye contact, “Even if I said I want to kill him, Even if my anger boils everytime I see him taking you away from me, somewhere deep in my heart.. I still have a soft spot for him and it is forever engraved there”

Just hearing Taehyung's name makes me want to go and run back into his arms. I want everything to go back.. As if I'm playing a movie and kept rewinding back to the best parts of it and never get tired of watching it all over again

Chae suddenly run to us with her phone, it looks like she's dialing someone, “Guys, I'm trying to reach over Juu's aunt to try and ask about her and it surprisingly ringed” Chua also walked towards us

So Yeong unnie answered the call. Chae put it on loud speaker, “Hello?”

“Hello? Chae? Y/n? Is this you?”

She asked in a hushed voice, “Yes! Yes it's us.. Is Juu back there with you?” Chae asked

It was quiet for about 3 seconds on her side before answering

“Huh? J-Juu's not here.. I asked the guards if they took her and they said they didn't saw her but if they did, they will surely turn her over to Taehyung”

I remember why.. because she made the guards unconscious and took me

Chae and Chua exchanged a confused look, Chua asked, “Do you know where could she be now?”

“No idea.. but I'am trying to find her in the house. She might've hid somewhere since the house is big but no hints of Juu here. Please look for her in your area too, she might've run back there”

“No, She's not here too. We've been waiting for her since last night and she hasn't come back yet” -Chua

“Oh goodness.. p-please search thoroughly. She's my only family member”

Chae sighed, “We will. Let's hope nothing wrong happened to her”

“I'll keep you updated if Taehyung's men captured her and help her escape but if she's already with you, inform me and I can breathe freely. Thank you” Chae was about to end the call when So Yeong unnie spoke

“Also.. When are you going to finish this?”

“Tonight. We'll head over to our boss' house. Don't worry, we'll search for Juu there too” -Chae

“Good luck. Please end this..” and with that they ended the call

“I hope she's safe. She knows where to go when she's in trouble” Chae inserted her phone in her pocket “So let's continue with the mission.”

No.. No I just have to walk away from here and--

“Is Y/n coming with us too?” -Jungkook

Chua stopped from preparing “Yes, We'll turn her over to boss”

“W-What?! No! Don't!”

“What can you do? You've already lost princess” She tied her hair, “I-I'm...” I stuttered

I can't accept defeat!

Chae and Chua exchanged nods and Chua approached me, “Do me a favor and sleep” she hit me on my head and everything turned black

“Ugh..” I groaned as I opened my eyes. I'am laying in a car.. at the back of the car with Jungkook. He was looking outside the window while on the driver's seat is Chua and Chae on the other

My wrist were tied together and my mouth was yet again sealed. Suddenly, the car stopped. I saw a huge familiar house just outside this car

Jungkook opened the door and they walk out. Chae and Jungkook opened the door  for me and took me out..

W-Wait.. This house..

“Y/n.. Don't worry. I'll be with you.. We will be safe” Jungkook whispered. As we go near the doors, I started wiggling around

No! I don't want to enter !! I don't want to see him!!

“Stop moving will you?!” Chua yelled

I stopped when I saw someone at the corner of my eyes. Someone wearing all black hiding in the bushes.. and it's not just one, I saw a lot of them

One of the guy dressed in black took out a gun and pointed it to me. He signalled me to move aside and when I did, he pulled the trigger

Aiming at Chua's leg..

“Ugh!” She winced in pain as she fell on the ground. The guys jumped out of the bush and started killing the guards around the house.. Alerting whoever is there inside the house

“Damn it! Just turn her over!!” Chua yelled, Chae was about to help her when Chua slapped her hand away, “I god damn said turn her over!! Leave me here, I'll help stall!”

She still managed to stand up and grab out a gun, “You better not mess up Chae” Her last words before we head inside.

A lot of men run out of the house to help fight outside. We saw a lot more men dressed in black entered from the back of the house and killed the guards

“Jungkook! Hurry enter that door!” -Chae

We run inside one open room and closed it behind us. Chae and Jungkook were panting heavily, “W-Who are those guys?!” She asked

“I'm pretty sure it's Taehyung's men.”-Jungkook

T-Taehyung!!

“No.. It's impossible!! No one knew the plan except for us!”

I saw Jungkook's eyes widened, “No.. One person knew.. and that was So Yeong noona!”
