Chapter 41

Y/n's P.O.V

I slide my foot on the floor and tried using my toes to lift the object. It was hard to do since I have to bend my leg so I can get it using my mouth

I bit it between my teeth and moved my head around to try and find the spot to free myself from this chair. I heard a click and the lock around my wrist opened. I used my right hand to unlock the other parts of my body from this chair

“Come on.. Come on..” Outside is really noisy, you can hear gun shots from everywhere and it made me nervous... They might come back here ..

Just outside the door, I heard a lot of heavy footsteps. I stopped and looked at the door..  It looks like they run passed this door. I unlocked my right leg but this time, I did it fast

“Why does this kind of chair even exists??” I whispered to myself. I'am struggling to unlock my left leg

The door's knob suddenly started moving. From the other side of that door, someone is trying to come in. When the doorknob didn't unlocked, the person behind it started banging on the door

No no no!

“Y/n? Y/n are you there!?” He continued banging on the door

“Jungkook!!”

“I'll open the door for you.. Just a little bit more..” He hit his body one last time and the door fell on the ground at the same time, I heard the lock on my leg clicked

“Let's go!” He helped me stand up and run out of the room, “Wait! Chae.. Where's Chae?”

“We don't have time Y/n!”

“No.. ” I look up to Daniel's door, it was closed when we left that room, “Jungkook! His door is wide open and it's unguarded.. Chae must be in there!”

He sighed deeply before grabbing my wrist and run towards it. We stopped when the room is empty

“Chae?” I called out

“Look! Behind that table, that must be her!” He pointed behind a table, we only saw Chae's legs and shoes but she was laying on the ground.. not moving..

I was about to walk to her but Jungkook stood in front of me and approached her himself. I followed behind tho

Chae.. She's dead isn't she?

Jungkook crouched down and as I walk around the table, I got a clear view of her situation. She was laying on the ground-- unconscious. Her hand was sticking out and just above her hands was her gun

Did she tried reaching for it?

There was a continuous bleed on her forehead. Jungkook lift her carefully starting with her nape and let her lay on his lap

“Jungkook... Is she dead?”

He placed his fingers on Chae's pulse. He then paused, “She's alive.”

I released my breath I never knew I'am holding, “Let's take her out of here and escape.. I'm sure one of Taehyung's men will find us here”

He nodded and started lifting Chae's unconscious body but she suddenly opened her eyes. She momentarily paused before looking around

“J-Jungkook.. Y/n!” She sat up and coughed out blood, I crouched beside her, “Chae! Don't worry, We'll leave this place”

She continued coughing out blood and covered her mouth using her hands, but the blood just went through it

“What did they do to you?” -Jungkook

Chae grabbed her gun, “Juu's dead. He killed Juu”

“W-What? But isn't Juu one of his spy?” I asked

She shook her head as she stopped coughing, “Juu was never caught back in Taehyung's mansion. She ran her way back here and asked for Daniel's help.. She requested for back up for me and Chua since we're going to kill Jihoon, ”

That didn't ended well..

Her grasp around her gun tightened, “She came here in a bad time.. Daniel was furious and worried for Hwenji's whereabouts and finding out that she teamed up with my misson, angered him more. He... didn't even think twice in pulling the trigger to one of his loyal follower.. ”

Tears fell down her cheeks but she wiped them away, “Y/n.. Daniel was about to kill me when one of his men entered the room and told him that Taehyung's here. He's outside”

T-Taehyung!!

I immediately helped her stand up, “Taehyung's here! We can escape!”

“Daniel's on his way outside too. Everything's going to end tonight Y/n..  One wrong move and your life will also end”

“Then let's get going. Y/n help Chae run, I'll be on your back. I'll make sure no one is going to attack you two” -Jungkook

I nodded, “Okay then” Chae handed her gun to Jungkook, “There's a lot of bullets left in there but still make sure each and one of them are worth the shot”

I placed my arms around Chae's waist and started walking outside, She was limping when we walk around so I tried my best to slow down

We walk down the stairs, “The exit's that way” I nodded. We can't just exit through the front door.. We'll be taken as hostage if we did. Daniel can use us to defeat Taehyung and as much as possible, we want to stay hidden

To secretly help Taehyung from the back

I glued my eyes on the back door, all I can see and all my focus was on that very door. I ignored the lifeless bodies laying on the ground. I placed my trust on Jungkook.. I will trust him again that we won't end up like them 

“I'm sure Chua's outside, helping Daniel” I whispered to Chae. She didn't respond back

I know there's a possibility that she could already be dead but giving Chae a little hope won't harm. It's to make her strong to what lies behind this door

The gun shot outside suddenly stopped

“Go, Go, Y/n, Chae the coast is clear. Dash towards the door” Jungkook behind us said. I gripped Chae's waist, “We'll start running Chae” She nodded and together we started running

She had trouble but she tried her best to not be a weight so I can't stumble. I slam my arm to open the back door and we're finally outside

We were hidden behind the bushes. We stay low while we walk near the  entrance door. We peek from the bushes

Daniel was standing far away from Taehyung with a lot of body guards around him, some were crouched down and guns were pointing at Taehyung

Same on Taehyung's side. Dead bodies  on the floor and blood everywhere.. this is a chaos

“Well hello there brother!” Daniel spread his arms wide, “I missed you.”
