The Camping Break

It was the weekend at last in NYC and is 9am, Ethan has the week off from performing and when he goes back the week after, it is closing week. You wake up and look at Ethan still asleep in bed, you quietly sneak out to make breakfast like he did for you. You make some pancakes, which took 6 mins to cook, with syrup and adding little fruit on top. You hear Ethan coming and hide it behind your back to surprise him. "Morning babe" you said with a smile. He yawns then looks at you and smiles. "Morning. Your up before me, unusual for you, what's up?" Ethan says. "Surprise! Made us this" you say. "Aw, babe thanks." Ethan says taking his breakfast as he sits at the table. You watch him eat hoping he likes your cooking the same thing he did when he made you breakfast. "Wow, this is amazing Y/N" Ethan says looking at you with a smile. You blush. "Thanks, say for your week off how about a nice camping trip?" You say. "Yeah! Deffo be worthwhile. Sitting under stars and singing songs...speaking of I'll bring my guitar." Ethan says with enthusiasm. "Also hot cocoa and marshmallows don't forget that" you say and Ethan smiles. "Sounds perfect. We'll have to go shopping for these stuff" Ethan said. So after breakfast, you both get changed and it was 9.55am when you both were changed. "Actually babe, I need to collect my stuff first from my place since I'm moving in with you which is what I was going to tell you yesterday at the theatre" Ethan says. "That's great babe, of course you can move in with me" You say kissing him. "I knew you'd be happy about it. Let's go get my stuff bring it here and then go shopping" Ethan says kissing you back. "Sure" you reply. You let Ethan lock the door this time when you went out and it took 25 minutes to drive to Ethan's little apartment in a hotel. You both got there about 10.20am. When you went in the hotel, he went to talk to the receptionist about moving out and said you are helping him move out into your place and she said that's fine and to give her the key to the apartment when he is done. So you both went into the elevator and it took 2 floors up to Ethan's place which was opposite the elevator when you came out. Ethan opened the door letting you in first. Then he came in after shutting the door. "Right, I have quite a few boxes so let's start packing and then take them to the car, couple at a time. Then it's easier for me give the key back and leave this place." Ethan said. "Ok, so this will take how long?" You said. "Up to an hour probably but it depends how quick we are really" Ethan replied. So you both get started packing Ethans things like clothes and his guitar etc. and took one to two boxes each to the car. It was about 11.45am when you both finished packing and taking everything to the car to take to your place. "That's better" you said. "Yeah, now I'll drop off the key at reception and I'll be back. Just wait in the car babe" Ethan said to you, so you got in and waited which wasn't long really. "You're quick" you said with a laugh. Ethan laughed too. "Like I said just a drop off" Ethan replied as he drives back to your place in which the time you got there was 12.15pm. "Right, let's take up all this and unpack and then shopping for our camping trip!" Ethan says. "Yay!" You say and you both laugh. Again you both take 2 boxes up at a time and Ethan gets his guitar last. "Time to unpack" you say once everything has been took up. "The fun part" Ethan says jokingly. You laugh. It takes you both over half hour to unpack and place everything. When you both finished, you both sat down for a minute looking abit tired. "Shall we eat before going out again babe?" You said. "Sure, that might be best. What are we having?" Ethan replies. "I'll get something delivered here." You said. "Ok surprise me." Ethan replied with a wink. You laugh as you call local pizza place (Domino's) for one medium pepperoni pizza along with some brownies. It took 25 minutes for it be delivered and cost you $13.97 (you pay by card). "Surprise babe!" You said loudly after you shut the door. "Ooh, let's see." Ethan said. He opens packaging. "Ooh, pepperoni pizza and brownies. Thank you! I love this lunch choice" Ethan said, with a huge smile and you both kiss. So you both split the pizza in half for each other as well as the brownies. It was about 13.00pm when you finished lunch. "Well shall we get shopping?" You say. "Sure. So what do we need other than hot cocoa and marshmallows?" Ethan replied. "Just some camping stuff and some food" you say. So you both head out and drive to a local store nearby your place that sells not only daily essentials but camping stuff too! For everything you buy, which is: hot cocoa and marshmallows plus camping stuff and the food, it costs you both $85 in which Ethan pays on his card. You both managed to put all the equipment and essentials in the car. "It can all stay in the car." Ethan says. When you both get back your place, you research on Google for best places to take camping trips where there are clear and starry skies and perfect for campfires and comes up with Cherry Ridge camping area which is a 45 minute drive from your place and to your surprise it is FREE and has starry nights. "Babe, this one is free and has clear starry nights." You say. "Sounds perfect when shall we make our way?" Ethan replied putting his arm around your waist and smiling at you. "Soon so we can set up. Is there anything else we can take with us?" You say. "My guitar and clothes and pretty much that's it. I have Netflix and Disney Plus on my phone." Ethan said. "Cool, let's quickly get the clothes sorted and you get the guitar after then we will make a move." You said enthusiastically, so you both get some clothes into a small suitcase which you carry and then you grab your keys as Ethan goes to get his guitar. You quickly double check if theres anything you want to take and then you both head out and you lock the door as Ethan is carrying his guitar. "Let's go" you said. "This is going to be so fun" Ethan replied. He put his guitar in the back of the car as all camping stuff filled the boot of the car. "Let's put some tunes on for this 45 minute drive" you said. "Sure" Ethan replied smiling. He puts the radio on and you both start singing all the way to the area. When you got there it wasn't busy at all, the odd few but it was quiet. You find a place to park the car and where you are camping. "How about here? Perfect for view and starry skies" Ethan says. "Yeah, and also perfect for campfires too" you say. So you both get out and start setting up camp which takes 35 minutes. By the time you finished which was about 17.00pm you got some food and equipment out that you can cook on a campfire. Whilst waiting for food cook, you both sit down on your chairs. "This week off is going to be amazing babe thanks for doing this" Ethan said. "You are welcome I'd do anything for you" you said, resting your head onto Ethan's arm. "I know babe and same to you" Ethan said and got up to look at the food. "It's done, I'll do it." He said seeing you were about get up. After you both ate your food and put rubbish into nearest bin area, you get into your pyjamas with a soft, fluffy red dressing gown and Ethan gets into his pyjamas too (*see below*)
