The honeymoon had been great they had spent 3 weeks in Hawaii and then a week on a cruise. Now the happy couple was finally home and getting back to work.

Lucas was very busy working on a very important case and he was working late every night. He rarely got home before 9pm and when he did he would eat a quick dinner with Presleigh before heading into his home office and working late into the night. Presleigh also worked long hours at her catering company and she loved making others happy with her meals.
Presleigh groaned as the alarm sounded at 5:30 am. She felt like throwing up and when she went to stand up she suddenly got dizzy and fell to the floor. Lucas jumped out of bed and rushed over to his wife. He gathered her into his arms and laid her back down on the bed. He quickly got dressed and then helped her get dressed

and then called into the office and cancelled all his appointments for the morning. He called the doctor's office and was told to take her straight to the emergency room. He helped her to the car and then drove her there and rushed in and got a wheel chair and then helped her into the emergency room. A nurse quickly escorted her to a room and then drew blood. The doctor rushed in and Asked a lot of questions. Soon the doc left the room and then came back in a few minutes later. He said congrats in 9 months you are going to be parents you are pregnant. Presleigh breathed a sigh of relief. Lucas was excited and gave her a hug he had always wanted kids and now that she qas expecting all his dreams were coming true.
The doc gave her a prescription for nausea medication and prenatal vitamins and they left the hospital. Presleigh and Lucas stopped by a diner and ordered Canadian style bacon breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns, and bacon. Presleigh ate her breakfast before going home. She could only eat a few bites before asking for a to go container. They stopped by the pharmacy to fill the prescriptions.
When she arrived home she called her doctor and made an appointment for a month away than she took a long nap. She woke up 3 hours later and after fixing a quick snack Presleigh got started preparing supper.
She went to her doctor appointment a month later and He did an ultra sound and a thorough check up. She was then told to get lots of rest and to keep eating healthy. She went home and took a 3 hour nap. When she woke up she started a load of laundry and picked up the house. She asked Lucas if she could hire a maid to help clean the large 12 bedroom house. He agreed and she called a cleaning agency and they sent over Sunni.
Chapter 2
The next few weeks seemed to drag on for Presleigh. She awoke every morning with nausea and would then eat a few crackers and have ginger ale before being able to get out of bed. She took her nausea medication and her gummy vitamins since she couldn't keep her prenatal vitamins down. She couldn't stand the smells of food cooking so she left her sister Priscilla in charge at the catering company. Every morning before he went to work Lucas would gather together crackers and ginger ale and place them on the nightstand beside Presleigh's side of the bed. Than he would make her breakfast and place it in the microwave for her to warm up when she was ready to eat. He would make her French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, burritos, and oatmeal.
For lunch he would come home and make baked ham and cheese sandwiches, perfect pitas, soup or salads. He would cut up fruit and put them in the fridge for her to snack on til dinner. For dinner he usually would bring something home for her cause he didn't feel like cooking at 8 or 9 pm when he finished work for the day. 3 days a week Sunni would come in and clean the house.
Chapter 3
Lucas awoke one Friday morning at 5:30 am about 2 months later to find that Presleigh wasn't in bed, nor was she in the bathroom. He quickly threw on a pair of sweats and headed toward the kitchen where he could smell bacon frying. Presleigh was at the stove preparing breakfast. She had made Bacon Quiche, breakfast burritos, apple coffee cake and toast. She went and poured a cup of coffee and handed it to him. He noticed that she was feeling better. She filled 2 plates with food and joined him at the kitchen table placing a plate in front of him. She went grocery shopping after he left for work. After she paid for the groceries Presleigh went home and put it all away.
She than got busy making Oriental beef steaks and noodles, black forest torte, ceasar salad and watermelon Pico de Gallo. She also had time to start a load of laundry and strip the bed and remake the bed with clean sheets and blankets. After dinner she washed up the dishes and took out a roast. She woke the next morning and placed the roast along with onions and apples in the slow cooker and turned it on. She then went and took a shower and dressed in
