"It pisses me off that I'm the only one who gets sick around here." I mumble as I get myself a cup of water. I take a sip of it as Dean walks into the kitchen of the bunker.
"Hey-you're supposed to rest so you can get back to hunting faster-" He goes, and I shrug.
"I'll be fine." I say, then cough, but it sounds more like a bark.
"Yeah you sound amazing." Sam says sarcastically as he walks into the kitchen as well. I roll my eyes and chug the cup of water like I haven't drank in days. Sam leans on the counter and raises a brow towards me.
"Alright you got your hydration it's bed time." Dean says, taking the cup from my hands. I huff and shake my head. Then a flutter of wings stops deans further protest. I turn around and sneeze in my sleeve in Cas' general direction, causing him to tilt his head.
"Are you okay?" He asks, sounding worried yet confused.
"I'm sick." I reply plainly.
"Oh-then you must need rest, correct?" He says, and dean nods. I shrug, because well I know I should be resting but I don't give a fuck.
"They won't go rest even if it's good for them!" Dean says. Cas walks over to me and cups my face in his hands, confusing me and the two brothers.
"Y/N, you need rest. If I-what's it called? Oh right-snuggle with you, would you go to bed?" Cas asks, his tone suffocatingly soothing. I mean how can I resist that offer-especially in my sickened state? I slowly nod, then a second later Cas and I are in my room. I have a good old coughing fit as soon as Cas takes my hand to take me to the bed. Cas tilts his head again until I finally stop coughing.
I lay on the bed and pull Cas down with me. He tenses up as I quickly snuggle up to him, nuzzling my face into his neck. I take in the smell of his dirty ass trench coat as much as my snotty nose can and he slowly relaxes. He wraps his arms around my chest and gently pulls me closer as I sigh contently. Then I ruin it like everything in my life by sneezing again. Cas again tilts his head at it, but doesn't say anything.
"Shit-sorry-" I mutter.
"It's okay." He says, his tone still deep and soothing-"damn, that's hot."
"What is?" Shit I said that out loud. I just love how being sick removes the filter between my brain and mouth. I can feel my face burning up just like Sam and Deans mom. Cas seems to notice that as well but simply rubs my back a little. It calms me down fairly quickly. I can feel myself lull a bit and I yawn. Cas continues to run my back and as I fall asleep he kisses the top of my head.
The next morning rolls around, and I stir awake. Cas is still snuggling me, just watching me silently. I look up at him and smirk lazily. He tilts his head at it but smiles a bit back. I slowly pull away and sit up, stretching.
"Hey-I don't feel like shit anymore! What a coincidence that snuggling with an angel would fix my sickness!" I say, turning to look at him.
"Well now that you feel better-would you want to go watch bees with me?" He asks, and I nod vigorously. I mean how can I refuse such an offer when he's that fucking adorable?
