chapter one
"Birds flying high, Dreams flying by, trees billowing in the sky, when i look up-"
"Arabel" rung the voice of her mother.
"Arabel"
"Arabel"
"I'm in the garden!" she responded
the rush of the lake and the rainbow colored fishes had an extraordinary effect on her. The way the bushes grew around the river. The trees which were full of life. And how the sun seemed to set a peaceful setting in which all beautiful creatures even the unknown came to settle.
Arabel felt like a princess in this garden. Everytime she walked through this garden she felt a sense of ease she could not feel in her own house. Nor with her family. Coming here she would find herself uncomfortable in the presence of her family. She felt as she were a wall. Never did she act like herself. It seemed difficult for Arabel to act like Arabel. Her father expextedso much of his family, meaning there was no room for imperfection. Arabel hated this. Her brother Dylan always portrayed an arrogant fool. Her family was fake. They were imposters in the eyes of Arabel. Mever were they selfless, they were selfish! Only cared about their money. Yet they always had money as if it grew off trees.
there house cost a fortune! there was no way in Arabels mind to ignore the fact that there money was going to disappear somehow or another.
Arabel found a way to dispense herself from her family.
THE GARDEN!
Every day she would jauntly stroll in the garden. In the night she would sneak outside and sit by the bank of the river. Never did she feel scared. Her intrepidness seemed to fuel her at night. Even in the darkest parts of the garden did she feel brave.
"Arabel!" shouted her mother
"Coming." Arabel said with sadness
Leaving the garden seemed to always depress her. Her life was in the garden. Her world began the there. And her sorrows seemed to float away into the deepest part of the garden. She lived in a different world than her parents wanted her to live in.
As she walked back to the gate she heard a faint whisper behind her. She turned around only seeing the sillohittee of a person.
she walked to the pine bush in which she saw the shadow but saw nothing other than poppies and rosas.
"It must be mind." she whispered to herself
she walked back to the gate. leaving herself behind.
Seeing her mother, Arabel felt agitated.
"Thank Goodness your still alive!" cried her mother in relief.
Arabel hatd the way her mother hated the garden. She didnt understand the peacefullness that the garden emenated . she would never understand. No one ever did.
"Mom what is it that you want of me." Arabel asked impatiently
the mother was hesitant.
"Well there is someone here to see you."
"Someone."
"Yes,this gentleman is very intrested in seeing you."
"Mother I am not interested in seeing this man."
Her mother was furiated now. Of all the time she spends in the garden she will never apply that much time in a conversation.
"Very well i will dismiss him."
