you and rory arrived at your home. he held the door for you, to which you passed him a small thanking smile and set your bag down on the floor, to which he did the same.

you plopped down on the small brown couch in the living room. "sooo.. what now?" he smiled and shook his head. "i'm not sure. wanna just relax for a bit and rehearse for glee later?" he asks, and you return a smile. "i'd like that."

rory sits down on the couch next to you, and you move a bit closer. you thought about propping your head up on his shoulder; although he probably wouldn't mind, you didn't want to take that risk. "soo.. how's it at brit's?" you ask, and he chuckles a little.

"she thinks i'm a leprechaun. the other day she made me 'magically' have her cat lord tubbington poop out three musketeers." you giggled. "and she believed that?" he nodded, and ran a hand through his soft brown hair.

you kind of wanted to touch it a bit, just to see what it would feel like, but you ignored the urge. "how about living here with finn?"

you rolled your eyes. "he can be fun sometimes, but it mostly is just 'oh me big man football player who sing big duets with self absorbed girlfriend.'"you mimicked in a deep voice. he laughed.

after a bit more of chatting, you decided to rehearse for glee. afterwards you would help rory with his math homework and have a snack.

(you both did the same duet and choreography as you did 1-3 chapters back.)

afterwards, you guys got water as you were out of breath, and rory sat down at the kitchen table. you grabbed a bag of goldfish crackers and poured them into a small glass bowl. you sat down at the table across from rory, placing the bowl between you two.

he looks at you, eyebrows furrowed. "what's this?" you giggled at his cluelessness, grabbing a goldfish cracker and eating it. "they're like cheese crackers, only better." he raised his eyebrows and smiled at the last part. "alright then, i guess i'll give it a try." he grabbed a cracker and ate it. he chuckled a bit.

"so.. how is it?" he swallowed the food and looked at you. "it's grand." he smiled a bit at the corner of his lips, which you found adorable.

you helped rory with some algebra, as you took the same class- only different times. once you finished; the goldfish bowl as well (which rory loved), you headed back to the couch.

"so as you said earlier, does rachel come over?" he asks. you groaned, leaning your head back on the couch. "yes, and she acts like we're best friends. i'll be trying to do homework or something and she'll suck up to me. i'm not sure if finn minds it or not, he just says its the way she is. not to mention my ears bleed when shes singing upstairs." rory laughed a bit at the last part.

"has brittany done anything else?" he shakes his head. "she's just acting the maggot; thinking i'll do some kind of magic. at least i've only got one more wish before she leaves me alone. at first she said if i granted her wishes i'd get into her pot of gold, but now it doesn't seem as exciting since shes got that santana girl." you nodded slowly. "yeah, i hope she leaves you alone.

you leaned your head a bit on his shoulder, before you realized what you were doing and sat back up. "hey hey, it's grand. i don't mind." you smiled to yourself. you knew he wouldn't mind, it was just you were too scared to. you nervously laid your head back down on his shoulder. once your head reached it, your nerves had calmed down. you knew he wouldn't get angered or annoyed with you anymore.

"you know- you don't look too shabby."
