After I got home from Kairi's I got my journal out and decided to write to mum.
'Hi Mum, I haven't write in a while, a week to be exact. I haven't really needed to. I've been going to Jane's house every night for tea. Her meals are always amazing, just like yours used to be. Probably because you two took the same cooking class she told me tonight. Today was good. I spent the whole day with Kairi and I decided I wanted to be his friend. He's so patient with me. He understands when I don't want to talk about something and he respects it, he doesn't push me into telling him things. He lets me take my time. He's so gentle with me too, like I'm the most precious diamond in the world. Sometimes it gets annoying but I wouldn't want it any other way. We start school tomorrow and I'm driving Kairi. His mum asked me too and it's the least I could do. I've decided I'm going to get Starbucks every morning like I used to, when I was healthy. It should help me to get back into old habits. Anyway, I should get to bed because it's getting late. I love you lots Mum, tell Dad I love and miss him lots too. Night Mum, Your not so little princess, Y/n xx❤️'
I woke up at 7am the next morning to my alarm. A whole hour to get ready. That's way too much time, but I should get up so that I don't fall back asleep. I got up, showered, dressed up in the outfit Kairi chose yesterday and dried and brushed my hair.

Then I got a text from Kairi. I'm gonna change his contact name. Since I actually know his name now.

Kairi :) Hey Y/n, I was wondering what time you wanted me to be at yours since you're driving me. Let me know :)
Y/n Hossler Hey Kairi, does 8 sound alright? I wanna get Starbucks for breakfast. I'll buy you something too :)
Kairi :) 8 sounds perfect, I'll see you in 20 mins :) Seen.
*Knock knock* Is Kairi early? Wait what time is it? I took out my phone and looked at the time. Oh it's already 8 o'clock. Best get going. *Knock knock* "It's open!" I shouted at I ran down the stairs, as Kairi opened the door and walked in, I tripped on the steps and fell on top of him since my door is at the bottom of my staircase. "Oops, sorry," I said and smiled. I pushed myself up and stood up and reached my hand out to help him up. He took it and got up then let go. "Well that was an interesting greeting," He chuckled. God that chuckle. Stop, you can't be finding him cute. He's only a friend. Shut up y/n. "Come on, we need to go," I said as I grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the door. "Yes ma'am," he chuckled. I locked the door behind us and we got in the car. "What do you want from Starbucks?" I asked him as we left the driveway. "Chicken, sausage and bacon biscuit and a chocolate cookie crumble crème Frappuccino, what are you getting?" He asked whilst looking at me. "Bacon, sausage and egg wrap with a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher, my usual." I replied, keeping my eyes on the road. "I think we should share. I try your drink, you try mine and same with our food." He suggested. "Okay then," I shrugged.
