Recap:

The new student smiled, showing off the slight dimple on his right cheek, pearly white teeth, and those same mesmerizing turquoise eyes I just saw in the hallway.

This boy seems vaguely familiar.

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Jacob Reece to Richard T. Crane High School.", Mrs. Marano stated. Getting a chourus of "Hello"'s and "Hey"'s from the students.

My eyes widened, Everett Reece.

Oh hell fucking no... he's back.

"Thank you for welcoming me to your school." Everett said with a drool worthy smirk and husky deep voice. I swear I just heard every girl in this classroom swoon. I just scowled.

"Alright Mr. Reece, pick any free seat in the room." , Mrs. Marano said claping her hands. At that moment Jacob looked directly at me, since the seat next to me was the only free seat. I could've sworn I saw a hint of familiarization pass over his face, but if it did, he quickly covered it and walked over to the seat next to me and sat down. I could practically feel the girls in my class burning holes in my head with envy.

While all this was happening, I practically looked like I was about to shit my pants from nervousness. My heart felt like it were about to explode and my palms were sweaty. I wasn't too excited he was back either which brought back thoughts of why he had stopped trying to contact me all these years. I honestly don't know how I'm going to get through this.

The rest of first period was me, thinking my ass off about what to do about him coming back. After first period, everything else was a blur, until lunch time.

When the lunch bell rang I ran to my locker, putting all my stuff from my third period class into it then slamming it shut. Only to come face to face with my more happy than usual best friend Delila. Her honey brown eyes shining with admiration. And then there's me looking like I'm about to pass out, because she just scared the living shits out of me.

"What are you so happy about?", I said regaining my composure and walking to the lunch room, with Delila following in step looking like she's on fucking cloud nine.

"Noah talked to me!", she exclaimed, grabbing me by the shoulders and shaking me violently, with a huge grin plastered on her face. Then she sighed and looked up, as if Jesus was walking down from the heavens. Noah has been her longtime crush since freshman year. He had disheveled brown hair, icy blue eyes, a six pack, is captain of our soccer team and lastly is every girl's dream.

I just laughed at her insanity and said, "Okay.", in between giggles. That's why I love Delila, she just crazy and fun to be around.

"Oh, and have you seen the new kid? He is hot. I would totally tap that.", as Delila says that I tense up, but then loosen my composure and scowl.

"Yeah and I have to tell you something really important about him." I said as I took her by the arm and dragged her through the lunch room into the lunch line. Our lunch room was like any other typical high school lunch room you see in movies. Jocks and the cheerleaders in the center, nerds, band geeks, emos, artistic kids, tough kids, etc. all around the populars as if their the shit. As we exited the lunch line with our food, Delila and I go to our usual spot outside under the oak tree in our school yard.
