Chapter 39

Last week it didn't really change with the pain. Well, pain might be the wrong word. It's an annoying kind of pulling in her site. Matt started taking over the household so Gabby doesn't have to do too much. She still kinda tried to help as much as she can but Matt always sent her back to the couch to sit down. She didn't refuse to sit past few days. After a while he's done with the household and sits down on the couch next to Gabby. He puts his arm around her and pulls her closer so she can lay her head on his shoulder. He kisses her head softly and asks: "didn't get better yet?" Gabby shakes her head softly. "It doesn't hurt but it's annoying. All the time I move it starts to move too. It doesn't let me rest anymore" Matt lets out a sigh as he heard that. He wants to help her but can't. It's terrible for him to see her in pain and being unable to help her get through this. Gabby looks up to him. She sees how worried he is. He kisses his cheek softly and says calmly: "we'll be fine. Both of us" Matt nods a little. He smiles a little and answers: "I know you will. You two are fighters" Gabby smiled at that. Matt called Natalie as Gabby didn't notice to make an appointment for her next week. Gabby saw him hanging up and asks curious: "who was that?" Matt looks at her and explains: "I made an appointment for next week. It's not possible for you to be in pain for that long. I just wanna make sure you're Okay" Gabby tries to argue: "It's not pain. It's not even close to it" Matt looks at her: "you know what I mean" Gabby nods cause she actually knew it. She just doesn't want to go. It's 8 weeks till her due date and she's already enough scared to actually give birth. She doesn't need this too but she agreed with going to Nat.
