My alarm went off and I groaned. Ugh school. Today is the first day and I'm not a happy camper. The last week I been swimming, went to get my nails done, and the spa. I just want to stay in bed all day. There was a knock at my door. I sat up and told whoever it was to come in. In walked pops with a small little box in his hand. I looked ant him with my eyebrows scrunched up because I was confused. "Good morning pops. Whats in your hands?" I asked looking at his hands. He smiled and chuckled as he handed me the box. "Good morning sweetie. It's a happy late birthday gift from me and your grandma." He said while sitting on my bed.
I held the box and looked at my doorway and there stood my grams then she walked in. She stood by my bed. I smiled at both of them and opened the box. In the box was a car key another little box. I picked up the key and flipped it over. It was for the car I always wanted but never got around to buying it. A McLaren spider in red.(picture of car at the top) I was in love with that car and now I finally have. I looked at my grandparents with tears in my eyes from being happy and hugged them. I released them and dried my tears. "I'm so thankful and happy for this thank you so much." I said while looking at them. "There is still one last gift in the box to open." Grams said pointing at the smaller box inside the small box.
I took the box and opened it, there was a necklace and under it was a key to a door. I looked at them confused. They just looked at me with big smiles on their faces. "I love the necklace, but what is this key for?" I say still confused. They just smile at me. "The necklace is just something I thought you would like. The key on the other hand You will find out after school. Now get ready for school and then come down for breakfast in 20 minutes. You don't want to have a late start for your drive to school." Pops said while he got up and took grams hand and walked out of my room. I was confused but shrugged it off.
I got up off of my bed and did my normal morning routine. After I got out of the bathroom I went in my closet and picked out my outfit.

After I was dressed I packed my school bag. I put my books, laptop, pencil pouch, chargers, and sketchpad in my main part of my bag. In the smaller part I put all of my girl stuff including my makeup pouch. I close up my bag and turn off all my lights. I left out my room and went downstairs. I check the time and I don't have time to sit down and eat breakfast. I walk in the kitchen and kiss my grandparents on the cheek. "I'm running late so I'm just going to stop at Starbucks for something to eat. I love you. See you after school." I say while walking out the kitchen and walking down the hall.
I take my keys out of my purse and unlock the car. I get in and the car is already set up with my music and my seating arrangement. I was so excited I let out a little squeal. I started the car and drove out of the garage. Halfway to school I stopped at Starbucks. I went through the drive-through and got a venti mocha swirl and breakfast muffin. After I got my stuff got back on the rode to school. I get to school and park in my normal spot. I turn the car off and look at the dash for the time. It's 7:05 and I left the house at 6:30. I have 30 minutes until home-room.
