The girl in the woods

•Introduction•

Falia. The city is know for its Gorgeous... everything. Buildings that reach to the top of the perfect blue sky, People so famous they are known all over the country, dreamers turning the dreams into actions, and clear water that fills the beautiful river that passes through the city. And I am one of the few to ever see it.
Rule six of The Gulymire constitution: Citizens shall not leave there home town unless of an emergency or one of the little exceptions to this important rule.
And I am one of those exceptions. Well my father is.
Shanning is my city. It seems small with old buildings and woods that stretch farther than the eye can see. But to be truthful Shanning is not small. The city is mostly woods, which is a restricted area, that makes it feel small.
My father works for the GCSC, Gulymore confidential service company. They have one person from each of the city's work there. My father is one in our city making him the most important man in the city. The bad thing is, he can't tell me anything. No one outside of the organization knows anything about it, except that it exists and there is someone in there city who works for the company. The only people who know who the GCSC member is, are the family of the person and GCSC.
Because no one is to know of my fathers work, we are to leave for Falia after curfew.
Rule 13 of the Gulymore constitution:
All members of Gulymore must be In there homes by 9:00 sharp. All must be in bed with lights out by 10:30 at the latest. citizens are allowed to go to bed before this time. If any member of the community are found out after 9:00 or noted as awake after 10:30 shall be punished.
We are leaving at 11:45, more than a hour later than curfew to make sure no one sees us gone.
"What happens when people realize we are missing?" I had asked my father when he first told me.
"We are to tell them we are having our four day sanctuary. " He replied.
Shocked, I asked him "So we are skipping the sanctuary?"
"Only this year son... and your mother and I agreed to have 3 hours of silence all four days we are gone. And us not doing it is for work reasons, no other time would we skip." he said.
"Wait, wait, wait. You are saying I need to go against rule 2 and rule 23!" I
Asked excitedly.
"Only this once, and for my job porpoises only! As a member of GCSC I can completely discard rule 2, but as a GCSC family member, you can only do it when told and with the correct purposes. Got it?!" He asked sternly.
I remember nodding my head viciously.
Rule 2 of the Gulymore constitution: Citizens of Gulymore shall never lie to one another. There are little to no exceptions to this very important rule. Lies tear apart the committee we have built to better the people. If you lie, there will be consequences.
Rule 23 of the Gulymore constitution:
All Gulymore members shall take a four day sanctuary where they are to not talk at all, and are prohibited from leaving the house each year. This helps citizens find inner peace. Members of the country should think about whatever crosses there mind. at the end of the four days the members are to forgive, appreciate, and thank. If citizens do not participate in the sanctuary there shall be actions taken by the government. There are few exceptions to this rule.
I get to go against 4 strict rules all at once. That rarely happens outside of GCSC .
