I sat beside Peter on the log in front of the campfire. "What do you think Scarlette's reaction will be?" I asked. My smooth British accent flowing softly. Peter shrugged. "We've been watching her for months now.. Do you really think it's a good idea?" I asked. "Only one way to find out." Peter said. He kissed my forehead and stood up. "Have fun." I said. One of the lost boys came up to me and just stood there. "Can I help you?" I asked. He held up a bow and some arrows. "Fine, one more competition. Don't start crying when you lose." I said, getting up and going to get my weapon. I heard a rustle at my window and I turned and looked. Peter was sitting on the ledge, holding a sandwich. "That was quick. Is she here?" He nodded, taking another bite. "Ohh. I call slapping the lost boys who try to hurt her!" I blurted out dropping my bow. "Cole, calm down. I already told them to back off. Now come on before that chick starts freaking out." Peter said. I picked up my bow. "Oh! Should I do the little creep up on you like a bear thing?" Peter smiled. "Yes. I love it when you do that." He said winking. I turned around and walked down to the beach. I climbed a tree and waited for my cue to jump. Peter and a bunch of lost boys brought Scarlette down. I smiled as Peter said. "I'm Peter. Peter Pan." "Oh you've got to be kidding!" She said.
Peter glanced up at me and smirked. Everyone got quiet. "What? What's going on?" Scarlette asked. I jumped down from my branch. I landed in the sand and stayed in the shadows. I walked with my hood up. The boys stood looking down at their feet when I walked through. All except Peter. He was standing with a smug look on his face and his arms crossed, looking at me up and down as I walked. "Um who is she?" Scarlette asked. I could sense nervousness in her voice.
A tiny little laugh escaped my mouth, which is the only thing you could see under my hood. I walked in slow circles around Scarlette. "We've been watching you."I said. "Okay. That's creepy." "We need you to get someone up here for us." "Okay, who?" She asked. "Peter. You wanna take this one?" I said. He nodded. "Captain Hook." "My Hook? Are you serious?" I had stopped next to Peter. "Why?" I stepped forward. "That is none of your business. " I said. I stepped back to Peter's side. He put his arm around me. "Okay. I'll talk to Hook, but you still haven't told me who she is." She said. "Fine. This is Cole. That's all you need to know about her." Peter said. "Everyone go home get some rest. We have a lot to do tomorrow." Peter said.
"Um, where do I go?" Scarlett asked. "Oh, yeah.... Felix! Show Scarlette to her room." Peter said. We turned liked towards my room when he took her by the arm and dragged her behind him. I took my hood off and let my hair out of the ponytail. The loose black and emerald green curls falling loosely over my shoulders. As we walked to my room I heard the murmurs of the boys. "Peter... they're doing it again." I said. "I know, love. Don't worry about it." He said. We parted ways as we reached my room.
The night went by very fast. I woke up before anybody else so I decided to clean off in the river that only Peter and I know about.I snuck out of my room and to the river with an extra pair of clothes. Knowing Peter I decided to bathe in a swim suit, of course he wouldn't know that. I had on my royal blue strapless bikini.
As I was finishing up I saw Peter leaning against a rock. "Peter go away so I can get dressed."I said. "Why do I have to leave? Your clothes are right here. Just come out and get them." "Nice try." "Fine I'll turn around." He said, turning and putting his face against the rock. I got out and quickly changed.
When I finished I looked at Peter over my shoulder, who of course was watching me. I rolled my eyes and turned around. "You little cheater." I said. "Oh I'm the cheater." "Yes. I was smart." I said, smiling. He walked over and slung his arm over my shoulder. "I hate you. " he said. "No ya don't." I gave him a quick kiss on the lips before we walked back to the beach.
