Based on the song 'That would be enough' from Hamilton. Also this was written before everything came out about Curcio and him no longer being part of the band.
My boyfriend was the lead singer of a band, Palaye Royale. But no one outside of family knew we were together because he wasn't ready to come out to the media and to the fans. Yet the band was getting bigger and I along with Seb, Em, and Curcio thought we should probably tell them.
"Rem I don't pretend to know the challenges your facing"
"What are you talking about" He questions.
"Just listen...I'm not afraid. I know what I got myself into when I agreed to date you," I tell him, "If I could grant you piece of mind about this I would."
"You want to tell the fans" He realizes.
"Yes, let me be apart of the narrative ,the story they will write one day. Let this be the moment you decide that you don't care what the fans think" I say.
"Would that be enough for you" He asks
"That would be enough" I confirm.
