The next step couples oneshots

auditions (heatizzy)

Izzy POV:

After Ozzy won regionals, he told me some stories about the show and how it felt to be on stage. I'm also a dancer but I never thought about joining the next step because I didn't want to just be seen as Ozzy's little sister, I'm my own person. One time me and my mom picked up Ozzy, so I went to get a drink, when I got my drink I saw a couple of Ozzy's friends they had the nerves to call me G.O (girl Ozzy). I just let it fly by. A couple of weeks later Ozzy burst in my room and said "Izzy the next step is holding auditions for the two alternatives spots, and you need to get in otherwise Heathcliff will get the spot." Honestly I don't know why but my brother and Heathcliff are kind of rivals but it's kind of childish. First I said no, but then he practically bagged me but I did want to get in to the next step, so I could try out.

Ozzy POV:

After I bagged Izzy she said yes, I'm so glad cause now Heathcliff has a smaller chance to be an alternative. I hate Heathcliff, we met in B-troupe, and he thought that he was better than I. After that we had a fight and since that we were rivals. Today are the auditions, Izzy better get in because I can't handle the drama with Heathcliff. He was one of the first persons to do the solo, the solo in one word: meh. It's almost Izzy's turn, so I give here a pep talk.

Izzy POV:

I really don't give a shit why Heath and Ozzy are rivals, but I really want to get in because I need to prove that I'm not just Ozzy's sister. Heathcliff was the first to do a solo, after him were Jude, Winnie and Ethan. I was in the third group. I watched his solo and was quite shocked, he was an amazing dancer I really don't know if I could make it. After Heathcliff's solo I started to doubt myself, and my nerves were already getting to me when Ozzy decided to give me a pep talk "Heathcliff can't make A-troupe you need to get in you got this, do what you do best, but don't mess it up". Okay this didn't help now I'm more stressed and I never get stressed. Now it was Jude's time for here solo, she was AMAZING. A couple thought pop in my head, what if I'm not as good as the rest, maybe they want contemporary dancers and I'm a hip hop dancer, what if I don't make it and my family will be disappointed. I went to the next steep to get a drink and calm down I had like 10 minutes before it was time to do my solo. There were a couple A-troupers who didn't feel like watching the auditions, there also were a couple  people who I saw at the audition.

Heathcliff POV:

When I finished my solo everyone clapped except Oswald, there was a girl standing next to him she was clapping but Oswald made here stop, and then he gave here a sort of pep talk I think. I never seen here before maybe they are friends or something. Then she just took of, I don't know why but I can't wait to see her dance. I was kind of tired, so I went to the next steep. Then I saw her again with her head in her hand, so I just decided to talk to her. She seems nervous so why wouldn't I help, I understand why she's nervous when I auditioned for B-troupe I was nervous to. And I kind of feel bad that she's friends with Oswald.
