"Willow Blake Saunders your going to be late!" I shot out of bed, instantly regretting it after my head started throbbing.
I got up and got changed into light blue boyfriend jeans and a simple grey sweater. I added concealer to the fresh cut on my head and the rest of my make-up in a blur.
I plugged in my Cloud 9 and while I waited for the beep I brush a comb through my waist length blond locks. After my hair was pinned into perfect ringlets, I threw on some white converse
and then ran down the stairs, I grabbed a granola bar without making eye contact with Des - my father."Hit your head?" He asked with eyebrows raised bringing my rush to get away from him to a halt.
"Yeah, clumsy me." I said softly making my way outside.
"I'll be out late tonight, don't wait up and just order something to eat." He said eyes not leaving his iPhone.
I didn't even reply, I would have rather he stay out than be alone with him.
It's just the 'coming home' part that sends a killer chill down my spine.I jump into my white convertible and hastily pulled out of the driveway before zooming to school.
'Hey willow.'
'How are you today'
'You looked really nice today.'
Each of everyone I returned and making my way to my locker.
"Will!" I turned around as I heard my best friend Sarah Grey running towards me, she was co-captain.Her beautiful bright pink locks were just as bold as her personality.
Her eyes were a treacherous green that I envied and she was the only one there for me after my mothers passing, she also knows everything that goes on at home."Hey Sars." I say with a smile, but it still wasn't real enough in her eyes.
"Rough night?" She asked eyeing me really closely
I just shrugged like I always do, and clench my teeth.
"It was fine." I said throwing my bag into my locker and looking her into the eyes. She laughed.
"You think I'm that stupid?" She says shaking her head, I just swallow the lump in my throat and keep my guard up."It's hurting me as well Willow." She says rubbing her forehead and walking away.
I made my way to first period which so happens to be health, and what wasn't helping is the fact that I was late.
"Miss Saunders, what brings you late to my class, don't give me some petty excuse like last time."But last time wasn't petty, last time was therapy.
'Therapy'- the word can mean so many things and can be twisted to so many lengths that are so unreal.I just mutter a small sorry and make my way to the back - the only vacant seat.
But the problem wasn't the row, it was the person seated on it with a prominent smirk on his beautiful face.Hunter Flores.
Hunter Flores is the total cliché of a bad boy, the smirk on his plump pink lips are always there and his excrushiating grey eyes that bore into mine.I made my way over to the seat that no one else dared to sit in, and placed down my books.
I felt a large warm object running along the slits in my jeans and I looking to find none other than the devil himself smiling sheepishly to the front."Get your fucking hands off me." I whisper only loud enough for him to hear, but instantly regretted it realising who he was.
Rumour had it he went to jail for beating up someone that had not given him the correct change at a grocery store.
But they are rumours, right? If only I knew what had to come.
