Part 11

"Now look what you made me do you numpty." I giggled. "Hey I'm not a numpty." Aston said as he folded his arms. "Oh really?" I teased him. Yes I was teasing him. But that's what I was like if I was friends with someone. I came out of my shell and was my real playful self. You probably guessed that already by the way I hit Aston playfully. I wouldn't dare hurt someone properly though don't worry. Unless it's a mannequin. But that's not even a real person so that doesn't count really does it? "Yeah of course I'm not. It's you that is Danie not me." He gave me a cheeky grin as we put the earring back on the stand. "Me?!" I looked shocked. I guess I was but I wasn't going to admit it now was I. "Yes you. Who else?" He giggled.

I shook my head and went to pay for some sparkly star earrings. Paige, Fran and Sam were waiting outside the shop but Aston waited inside for me. I finished paying and looked at Aston. He was giving me a funny look. "What?" I was confused about the way he was looking at me. "You're a numpty." He giggled. "Let it go please." I looked at him and walked out the shop to my friends. He stayed quiet. Had I been to harsh or not? Ah well he needed to be told I guess. He'd milked it for certain and I wasn't having anymore of it.

We went on to other shops. I went in New Look which was one of my favourite shops. I loved it. It had my favourite patterns on the clothes which were leopard print, skulls and crosses. I looked around and was bathed in beautiful clothes covered in those patterns. I didn't know where to look first. "Hey Danie! Look at this. It would look great on you." Fran said as she picked up a pretty leopard print dress. I didn't wear dresses often even though I was a real girly girl. But it was a gorgeous casual dress that I could wear to school, work or where ever. I gasped at it. "That's so pretty. Would you guys mind if I just go try that on?" "No of course not." They all said together. I looked at Aston but he seemed miles away. "Ast?" He suddenly snapped back to reality and looked back at me. "Huh? Sorry about that Danie. What did you say?" "I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier." I said as  began to feel regret over it. "Oh it's OK, don't worry." He smiled which I was glad about as it meant he knew I didn't mean it to sound nasty. "Thank you." I smiled back. " Do you mind if I go try this dress on?" "No go ahead."

I went to try the dress on. I put it on and opened the curtain of the changing room to show them what it looked like. Fran, Sam and Paige gasped. "You look amazing Danie!" "Thank you." I smiled. Aston looked surprised but in a good way. "What do you think Ast?" He smiled. "It does look amazing on you. You should get it." "Aw thank you. I will." I then went back in and closed the curtain behind me. I soon got changed and joined the queue to pay. Aston suddenly came from nowhere and scared me... again. I'm easily scared anyway. "I thought you were waiting outside with the girls." I said to him. "I was but I just couldn't let you buy such a nice dress yourself." "Oh and why's that exactly?" "I want to buy it you as a treat seeing as you looked so nice in it." I looked at him. Did I just hear that right. He wants to buy ME that dress as a treat? Gosh that's a big step up from boys not really caring about my existence to buying me something. I really didn't know what to say. What could I say? I hadn't been in any situation like this before. "Erm... you really don't have to Ast." "Oh but I insist." I looked at him. "OK then... but only this once."

So I let him buy me it. But honestly, how could I have resisted his gorgeous face? He has the softest chocolate brown eyes ever. I just couldn't say no to him. I smiled at him as we walked out the shop. "What's up with you guys?" Paige asked. "Ast just brought me the dress." I giggled as me and Ast looked at each other. "He what?" Paige, Fran and Sam said in unison. "He brought it me." I smiled and Aston nodded in agreement. "Awww. That's really cute." They smiled too. "I know." I looked at Aston again then hugged him. "Thank you Ast." I smiled up at him as he hugged me back. "Your very welcome." He smiled back.
