(Zachary's POV)
I heard Zayne shouted before I went out of her condo, but didn't hear it clearly. I pressed my pass code and went inside my condo when it opened.
I directly went to the kitchen to get the pitcher from the refrigerator and get a glass of water. While drinking, I felt my phone keeps on vibrating inside my pocket. I took my phone out in my pocket and answered the call.
"Hello mom."
[Nandiyan ka parin ba sa condo ni Zayne?]
"Wala na."
[Bakit? Okay na ba siya?]
"Yes she's now okay." Hindi ko talaga alam kung okay na yun, at wala akong pakialam.
[You sure huh? Gosh your poor fiancée, sino ba kasi naglagay ng ganun sa drink niya?] Mom said in an annoyed tone, and I just listened. [By the way, did you give it to her?] Dagdag nito.
"No." I put the pitcher back, and walked towards my room and went to my closet.
[Ano?! Bakit? Bakit 'di mo binigay?] Mom said in a disappointed voice.
"Nakalimutan ko." I lied. I heard my mom sighed, while I'm choosing some clothes to wear.
[Ba't mo naman nakalimutan?]
"Next time na lang mom."
[Ayusin mo yang next time mo huh. If not, you know what will happen." Pagbabanta nito sakin.
"Sino ba kasing nakalimot na ibigay 'tong bagay na 'to sa kanya nung dinner." Pagpaparinig ko.
[Aba, malay ko ba na makakalimutan ko. Bumalik pa nga tayo ng bahay nung nakalimutan kong dalhin yan. Kaso nga lang nakalimutan kong ibigay.]
"Kaya ako na lang magbibigay ganun?" Pagsasarkastiko ko, sabay kuha ng napili kong damit.
[Why not? You are her fiance after all.]
"Yeah right. Sige na mom, maliligo na ako bye na." Ibinagsak ko naman yung napili kong damit sa kama.
[Basta yung ibibigay mo huh, don't tell her that it's from me okay? Dapat kunwari ikaw bumili niyan para sa kanya.]
"Yes mom, take care bye." Tinapos ko naman yung tawag at dumeritso sa banyo at naligo. Matapos kong maligo, agad ko namang kinuha yung tuwalya na nakasabit, at ipinalibot ito sa aking bewang.
"Hey babe!" Pagbungad sakin ni Tiffany pagkalabas ko ng banyo. Gulat naman akong napatingin sa kanya, hindi dahil sa kung pano siya nakapasok kundi dahil sa nandito na siya.
"H-hey your here."
"Surprise?" She chuckled.
"Kala ko ba friday ka pa babalik dito?" Naglakad naman siya papuntang living room at umupo sa sofa. I just followed her and then stopped while standing in front of her.
"Ayaw mo?" She said and raised her both eyebrows.
"W-what? Of course not. I was just surprised that's why."
