after she walks out of site i sigh in relief. i go back under the water and look for a moment, explore the lake floor. i had wanted to have some alone time for a while. dealing with people is an especially hard struggle today. i swim to the other side of the lake where there is a cliff, that has tunnels underneath.
just before i go in i change tails to a full body transformation ,or a full shift. meaning my entire body changes. my tail and skin turn black and grey as my nose and mouth elongate. my teeth sharpen into fangs as i grow more scales and my skin feels like a sharks skin. i grow more eyes, each being a bold yellow. three on each side of my chest, one on each side of my collar bone, two on each side of my neck, and three more on each side of my face. my nails sharpen into claws that could easily cut. i grow more fins, including one that ran from the front of my head to right between my shoulders.

i then enter the caves, feeling where the cold current leads. with me now being a nightmare, i can feel the slightest temperature changes, and i dont get lost in places like this. i follow the current until i find a cavity in the cave with an air pocket. i go up to look around and i see glowing things.
im not sure who put them there, nut i am sure they are a part of someones quirk. i then feel a disturbance in the water. s going back down i swim towards it.
when i arrive to the opening of the cave i see the bright shine of and led flashlight. it blinded me for a sec when the wide beam passed over all 18 of my very sensitive eyes. i blinked them closed an swam to hide behind a column. the person was in full on diving gear, wetsuit, air tank,hoses, the whole nine yards. they had more people dropping in behind them.
once about three people were in the water, they headed to the wall of the cave, feeling for something. after a minute or so they found a thick string that lead into the cave.they followed it in and i followed them. one of the people took a look around really quick. she was the smallest of the bunch, looking about 15. just before the light hit me i swam into a shadow by the wall really quickly.
i think the person spotted me because she paused for a minute before heading on. i swam lower to the floor of the cave and i continued to follow them. when they stopped and got out of the water i swam up. popping the first two of my eyes out of the water i see i in a very large pool like hole. there was a floor starting about 15 feet in front of my.
the teen of the group had made light come out of their hands and they looked somewhere. eventually finding a rather large generator and the crunk it up. making the hidden room light up with bright lights. i ducked back into the water, making a rather large splash. i didn't really care.
i was too busy rubbing my eyes to care anymore. once my eyes stopped hurting i saw a figure at the edge of the pool. i swam under the hole to try to see if the shape was male or female. but before i could make it out, they shined another light.i again hid under the water.
