The date was June 17th, 2020. Inez Rehbloker [Idol Miku] was bored at home that morning. It is her 16th birthday today, but because of the coronavirus, she's stuck at home. And school is also over for summer break. She finally decides to talk to her friends Idina [Idol Rin] and her boyfriend Sterling [Street Len].
Idol Miku: Hey, Idina! Hi, Sterling.
Idol Rin: Hi, Inez.
Street Len: Happy sweet 16th birthday, Inez.
Idol Miku: Aw, thank you, Sterling. You're really sweet. But unfortunately, it's not really a sweet 16th birthday.
Idol Rin: How come?
Idol Miku: Well, the coronavirus is still going on. And the stupid riots.
Idol Rin: I know what you mean.
Street Len: I can still hear the gunshots from outside my house at night sometimes.
Idol Rin: Well, things will be better. Eventually.
Street Len: Let's hope so.
Idol Miku: So, Sterling, how are things going with Shiloh [Street Miku]?
Street Len: Great. I helped her with yard work the other day after Tropical Storm Cristobal.
Idol Rin: How bad was it over there?
Street Len: Oh, it wasn't much. But there was a lot of sawing up trees and burning up wood. After a hard day, Shiloh made some s'mores.
Idol Miku: I could go for s'mores right about now.
Idol Rin: Me too.
Street Len: Trust me, ladies. I may not look like it, but I am good with a chainsaw. Look at these plus 1 biceps!
He started showing his arms to the girls.
Idol Rin: You are such a geek, Sterling. Anyway, Inez, what are you going to be doing on your birthday?
Idol Miku: I already bought a cake yesterday. I'm thinking about having some of that and saving some for another day.
Idol Rin: Cake. That also sounds good right now.
Street Len: I wish we could come over and join you, but...you know...the coronavirus.
Idol Miku: That's okay, Sterling.
Idol Rin: Well, we hope you have a good day, despite COVID-19 still going on.
Idol Miku: Thank you.
Street Len: I gotta go now.
Idol Rin: Yeah, me too. Happy birthday.
Sterling and Idina signed off, leaving Inez all alone.
