Josephine's Pov

"You didn't told me that was a guy!" I say to Scarlett when I sit to our table.
"And you didn't told me that you wanted a girl!" She says back.
"It was kinda clear when I told you "she"." I say.
"Alright, alright, my bad but tell me what's wrong with Hero?" she asks and then I'm kinda confused.
"H-Hero?" I ask.
"Yeah is his name." she says obviously.
"His name is strange as him." I giggle.
"You still not answered to my question." she says rolling her eyes.
"He talked about a girl that he saved days ago from a crash?" I ask and then she looks like thinking about it.
"Oh my God yeah! He was an actual hero!" she says.
"Yeah he was. Well, you have the girl right in front of you." I say.
"Wait what?! Okay that destiny that you guys had to meet again." she says so excited.
"Jo, I still don't get it why you don't want to rent him that room. I garantee tha he is not that messy. You need money and he is the perfect roommate. Give him a chance to let him know better. I'm so sure that you two I'll be great friends and maybe, why not, more than friends." she says and then I risk to choke myself with some coffee.
She starts to run her hand up and down on my back.
"We're not going to be that." I say still gasping.
"Okay okay but don't judge him. He is one of my best guy friend and he is kind to people." she says.
"Okay, I'll rent it to him." I say rolling my eyes.
"Yes! Do you want to go to tell him after work?" she asks.
"Go where?" I ask. She smiles.
"He works in a street food truck. There are the most delicious things ever. I go there like twice a week." she says while her eyes are glowing.
"Okay, let's do it." I say so after lunch we both go to our own offices and after we meet at the exit.

"Are you ready?" she asks taking her car keys out of her bag.
"I changed my mind. I think we should meet there so I can take a shower and change." I say while she unlocks the car doors.
She turns in my way in less than a seconds, she I see her eyebrows rising, a smirk on her lips a lightning is going through her eyes.
"What?" I ask while she is still looking at me weirdly.
"Are you trying to impress him?" she asks and then I jump on the passenger seat.
"W-what? No! It's just, my feet's are bagging and I need to change." I say quickly.
She mumbles like she is not convinced.
"Okay, how much you take to have a quick shower and change up?" she asks.
"I'm kinda quick when I want. Like 10 minutes?" I ask.
"Okay I'll wait in your living room." she says starting the engine.

So when I get to the apartment, I say to her to act like she's at home and then I jump into the shower.
I put a light blue turtleneck sweater, white high waisted skinny jeans and my lovely Nike's.
I let my hair fall down softly on my shoulders, I put some rings necklaces and little hoops earrings.
I put some make up on, mascara and highlighter.

"Who's that!!" Scarlett says when I walk out.
"Don't exaggerate." I say laughing.
"I'm not. Look at you. You seem you're going on a date." she says taking my hand and making me turn on myself.
"I am. With you. It's my first time that I go out with someone." I confess and her caramel eyes gets soften.
"Aw come here." she says hugging me.
I hug her tight.
"This big turtleneck sweater makes me wanting to hug you even more. Is so soft." she says caressing the fabric.

So after we get on the car and we make a little of piece of our way and then we got the underground to reach "the restaurant".

I don't know why but when we actually get there I feel so nervous but I try to hide it because I don't wanna hear a Scarlett jokes about it.

The truck is all black and from there is coming a really good smell of barbecue.
"Oh here is he." she says pointing him while he is getting some orders from a type of window.
"Let's go." she says taking my hand and walking near so many tables full of people.
The food have to be so good to have this number of costumers.
When we get near to the window he don't notice us because he is laughing with a customer while he is handing a type of burrito.
I stare at him and maybe Scarlett is right, maybe I really have to discover who he really is because looking at him now he looks super kind and friendly. His laugh is contagious and he looks like he's having fun.
His eyes are glowing, lips are pinker and his hair are perfectly pulled up, they're not that long.

"Hey H!" Scarlett catches his attention.
His mouth is literally an 'O' when he sees her but when his eyes meets mine hue forehead furrows.
"Hello!" he says while his friends walks away.
"What are you doing here?" he asks looking at Scarlett.
Ehm, hello? I'm also here!
Then he looks at me like he read my mind and he places his elbows on the window.
"And you? You came to tell me that I'm not your type?" he asks mocking me and then I roll my eyes and look at Scarlett like to say 'saw? He is a jerk.'
"We came to have some dinner." she says smiling to him and he nods.
"The same as usual?" he asks.
"Yes but let make two, she have to try it." she says smiling at me.
"Alright." he says and then he starts to prepare it.
I look at his flexed arms and my eyes fall on his veins. I found them so sexy in every guy.
Oh fuck I should stop.
Scarlett elbow wakes me up from my thoughts.
I look at her.
"Tell him." she mimics.
I shake my head.
"Here." He says giving us two plates with like crepes but there are all meat on it.
"Hero, Jo has to tell you a thing." Scarlett says taking her plate.
I do the same and then my fingers touched his.
"What?" he asks pointing his eyes on me.
"I came here to say that you was officially my roommate." I say looking around and the his eyes go wide.
I keep a laugh. I like that reaction.
"What seriously!? Wait: "was"?" he asks.
"Yes. I remind you how you greeted me." I say and he rolls his eyes.
"Really you changed your mind of a male roommate?" He asks placing his elbows back to the window and leaning forward.
"Yeah because I trust Scarlett." I say and he looks around disbelief.
"So when I can move in?" he asks while Scarlett already started to eating.
"If you need you can also tomorrow if you want." I say.
"It sounds perfect." He says smiling softly making appearing a dimple on his left cheek.
"Okay so I'm at home after three o'clock, you can come and bring your stuff." I say.
He nods.
"You're not going to regret it." he says licking his lower lip like he's trying to keep a smile.
'That's hot.'
'God Jo stop.'
"I hope so because the first time that you screw up and you break a rule, you're out." I say making Scarlett laugh.
"Okay okay you two... How much it's?" she asks.
"Oh no. That's on me tonight." he says smiling to me.
"What no." I say.
"Take this as a "thanks"." he says making me smiling.
Is is not that rude at least.
"Okay so thank you. Oh, you have to send me your documents so I can make the contract." I say before leave the truck.
"But I don't have your number or email." he says.
"I'll send it to you." Scarlett says and he nods.
So I smile to him and we walk away searching for an untaken table.

"See is cute when you got to know him ." she says and then I look up the sky.
" I don't like his attitude. I mean you heard how he greeted me?" I ask her.
"I-" she try's to talk but I interrupt her.
" I don't care about his attitude I'll not let him screw up once." I say.
So we sit and I see him reach the table of his friends when there is no new costumers and I see their eyes on me.
He is surely talking about me.
"Okay, let's go?" I ask her she wipes her mouth and then nods.
I take our two plates and throw them on the trash cans.
"But wait I have to say bye to them. Come." she says.
Oh fuck.
So I follow her to the guys table.
"Hey guys. I missed y'all." she says hugging a guy.
I look up and I see Hero sitting on a chair with his arms crossed on his chest. I catch him staring at me and he smiles at me looking at me under his long lushes.
"We missed you too. Oh, Saturday night at mines?" an another guy asks.
"I'll be there. Guys she is Josephine, she's Australian and she moved here few days ago." she says.
"Australian?" Hero asks interested while also other ones asks the same.
I nod looking at Hero.
"You're gonna love it here." a guy kindly says.
"Not for the rain." the the white guy that looks so much like Hero in the clothing style says.
"Oh that's okay for me." I say calmly.
"We gotta go, see you Saturday guys." she says.
"Bye guys." I say smiling at all them and looking for a second at him.
"See you around." a guy says and then Hero looks at me again.
"See you tomorrow." he says with a smile on his lips I nod and I follow Scarlett while their conversation is getting noisy.
