CHAPTER 2

"Hoy, Nics! Ibalik mo yung 9k ko!" Brielle pouted and sat beside me.

I got back from my senses when I heard her talking. Kasalanan kasi ito ni Kayden eh! Some people were staring at me tuloy kanina when he shouted.

I glanced at her as she was busy placing her food on the table.

Brielle was in her black corporate attire with a white polo shirt underneath her coat. I love how it fits perfectly on her body. It really suits her.

I chuckled. I remember hindi pala ako nakapagbayad last night. "Sorry na, I'll promise I'll treat you guys next time!" I raised my right hand, making a promise to convince them.

"Thank goodness, you're okay! Saan ka ba nanggaling kagabi?" Catrine looked at me with confusion on her face. She sat in the seat in front of me.

She's wearing her yellow polo shirt with a black coat on top of it and a black pencil skirt. She looks like a real businesswoman na talaga!

We're here sa isa sa mga canteen ng University. This is my favorite place kasi I really love its interior. It's so unique kaya.

"May hangover pa ata ang lola mo. Mukhang sabog eh." Brielle jokingly said.

"Nics, paano ka nakauwi sa condo mo? I thought you can't drive?" I looked at them while sipping my milktea.

"Someone accompanied me." I calmly answered.

"Ano?!" biglang sigaw ni Brielle. Gosh! It's so embarrassing! Andami tuloy napatingin saamin.

"Who the hell is that 'someone'?!" Catrine furrowed her brows. Is this really a big deal for them?

"Just some random guy. Believe me he's nice! Look, I'm here! I'm safe! Nothing to worry." I smiled while trying to convince them. I want to change the topic so badly. I just don't want to remember how wasted I was last night. Wala naman na akong pake doon. I ace the quiz kaya kanina although kanina lang ako nag review.

I saw how their reactions changed from what I've just said.

What? Is there something wrong sa sinabi ko?

My brows furrowed when I noticed they were staring at me with a smirk plastered on their face.

"Can you guys stop it? Ang annoying niyo!" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. What's with them ba? Ang weird nila!

"Ahem. Care to share kung sino 'yang random guy na 'yan? "Brielle smirked as she crossed her arms. She was trying to be serious this time.

"Wala. He's nothing special naman. Tinulungan niya lang ako last night. No biggie. You guys didn't come to pick me up kasi! I was hella worried kaya if paano ako magdridrive pauwi!" I irritatingly answered.

"Eto kasing si Catrine nakita nanaman si kuyang Nursing sa bar!" I laughed when I heard Brielle complaining about Catrine.

"Hey are you blaming me?" Catrine fired back and rolled her eyes. I continued eating my food while watching them argue again. As if I was watching an interesting scene in a movie.

"Yes, I do." Brielle raised her eyebrows. "Nilapitan mo kaya si Kuyang Nursing sa sobrang lasing mo. Gusto mo pa nga siyang tabihan eh andoon yung girlfriend niya. Pasalamat ka pinigilan kita. Siguro pag hindi, baka nasapak kana ng jowa nun." She complained.

"Oh my! I did that?!" Catrine covered her mouth and was in total shock. I believe that she really didn't mean it kasi she's not that type of person naman. But, you know although ayaw niyang makasira ng relationship people will always misinterpret it.
