Jesse's mother had convinced Isaac to come back to the Ridgway house, welcoming the 18 year old with open arms. Parker already knew about the plan that Jesse's Father and Brother had to get Isaac to snap in the mirror to get Jesse back. But Isaac was growing on Parker it seemed. Although he did want his best friend of 15 years back, he wanted to get to know Isaac a little better and be there for him. The things he had seen the black haired boy do and attempt made him wonder what happened to Isaac in his world. Parker sat on the patio while he waited for Mr. Ridgway and JT to do their half of the plan. He kept thinking to himself that none of this was fair to Isaac. All he wanted was to feel happy, and he wasn't getting that feeling at all in his own world. Even though Parker understood that Mr. Ridgway and JT needed their son and brother back, Parker thought it would also be fair to let Isaac stick around a little longer. Once Parker made his final decision, he went back inside and headed straight for the younger boy's room and opened his door quietly, seeing he had the lights off.

Isaac was still awake and had seen Parker peeking through his door. He pulled out his dagger and threateningly pointed it at the taller boy as he quickly stood up and walked over to him.

"What the fuck are you doing?! You're supposed to be gone!"

"I know, I know! Please, I just wanted to talk to you about something! It's important..."

Parker pleaded as he held up his hands in surrender. Isaac squinted at the taller figure, putting his dagger away slowly and allowing Parker to come in. The two boys sat down on the edge of the bed and Parker began to talk.

"Isaac, I'm gonna tell you this because you have actually grown on me a good bit. Jeffrey and Mr. Ridgway have made a plan to get you to snap back into Jesse, but I've decided that I don't think it's fair for any of us to force you back into a world where you're suffering. I do want Jesse back and I know his family wants him back too, but I can tell you're happier here."

Isaac looked at Parker warmly with tears threatening to fall down his face. The taller boy had noticed and gently put a hand on his back in a comforting manner as he continued to talk.

"Listen, Jesse's Dad and Brother are gonna be in here any minute with the mirror."

"What?!"

"It's okay!"

Parker said, calming the younger boy.

"I know their plan. I'm not gonna let them touch you, so we need to get you somewhere else. Any ideas on where we can hide?"

Parker asked the dark headed boy.

"Uhmm... Let's go to the basement, in the room with the ping pong table."

Isaac said as he and Parker immediately headed out the door. The two got down the stairs as quick as possible and went straight to the ping pong room and hid. Parker knew they had awhile before they would be potentially found, so him and Isaac began to talk.

"Okay... We should be safe here for awhile."

Parker said as the two panted.

"Thank you, Parker. I don't know why you're helping me after all the shit I've put you and this whole family through, but I really appreciate it, man."

Isaac said as he bowed his head, black hair falling in this face. Parker gave the boy a warm smile as he patted his shoulder.

"I'm here for you, dude. So... If you don't mind me asking, what happened to you in your world that's made you want to... End yourself?"
